NY Resolution: bake more yeasted things! I’ve made cheese bagels, milk bread, babka, brioche - but I stopped for a 1 1/2 years bc of mental health issues. I always get nervous I’m gonna do it wrong and my bread will fail (which has happened before) but! Being afraid of failure has stopped me from enjoying so many things and I say…no more. Mistakes make us stronger

NY Resolution: to embroider my jean jacket. i've had plans to add this really cool (but huge!) peacock to the back because i think it will make a really cool piece. but it's taken me a really long time to plan out because i have to select the colors and stitch types myself, as well as edit the original design to fit the piece (embroidery usually comes with very straightforward kits that include all of that). i was planning to do this project a few years ago, but the lady i did crafts with passed away during the early stages of it and i ended up putting it off.
