Why is it his favourite? When Rana ("Little Frog") was younger his mother used to pick sprigs of buttercup for him and place it under his chin and weave them into his mane, exclaiming how pretty he looked and "Ohh the flowers magic must have given you your stripes, my little frog!". Now that he is grown up, he knows he inherited his shining golden stripes from his father, they were not bestowed by a flower reflecting sunlight, but the nostalgic feelings remained. As he roams the lands now he sometimes spots patches of the creeping buttercup and rolls in them until the flowers and petals pepper his mane. He also had to admit his mother was right, the flowers do make him look rather pretty.

Why is it his favourite?: Archeron wants to be loved so badly. no matter what he does, people are afraid of him. maybe its his darker coloring, or maybe its the skeletal pattern he has on his face, or maybe its just him. he'll never know. i guess he just relates to the flower. for the corpse flower, people avoid it due to its stench. acheron doesn't know why people avoid him, but he still understands the flower. little does he know, like the corpse flower, he is so wonderfully unique that someone, someday will find him absolutely perfect.

Why is it his favourite? having been born with a natural curiosity for ecosystems and a rather sharp intelligence, his role in his herd has turned into something of a “botanist” — an expert at identifying all sorts of plants and flowers! and as such, also knowing which ones are very dangerous to his fellow equids. his favorite flower, despite knowing it is classified as poisonous, is the vibrant and beautiful amaryllis. it may be dangerous, and due to its danger he often gets all sorts of excuses to talk about it and warn others of its potential consequences, but he finds an odd sort of fascination and respect for the flower all the same. enchanting to look at, but demands a very healthy level of mindfulness when around it.

Why is it his favourite? There’s something about the ability of a flower to deceive an entire species to get what it needs that simply charms him

Why is it his favourite? They remind him of his late mother, she, like him, also resembled the flower itself. They also represent justice, protection, and encouragement, all traits he idealizes and tries to uphold in his daily life. A flower heavily resembling them are also placed around the neck of the winning horse of the Preakness Stakes, and are the symbol of the race itself. He also really enjoys racing as a hobby. Overall, its a very meaningful flower to him, and when they bloom he wears them as accessories in his mane and tail.

Why is it his favourite?
Born in September, Facade can't help but be drawn to his own birth flower. Though they come in a variety of color, he will always choose purple in honor of his mother's favorite color.

His favourite flower: Bird of Paradise
Why is it his favourite: Clyde was a lonely stallion in his youth. With a combination of bright markings, brash attitude, and a seemingly endless streak of bad luck for those around him, he found himself more and more isolated. In his youngest years he tried to simply ignore his loneliness, he would insist that he had friends in the flowers - specifically the Birds of Paradise which reminded him of bird faces and made him feel like he was actually talking to another creature. Looking back, Clyde can't help but be a little embarrassed by those plants being his only friends, and yet he still feels a degree of comfort when he comes across a Bird of Paradise standing alone, waiting for someone to talk to it.

Why is it his favourite?
He loves all flowers, but specifically yellow tulips are his favorite. Yellow tulips are a symbol of happiness and remind him each year that even though things might not be perfect, tulips will bloom.

His favorite flower: The Datura Flower
Why is it his favorite? The Datura flower is Edgar’s favorite flower for many reasons, all of which he is happy to tell you. Datura are spiky and dangerous-looking in the bud phase. Every part of the plant is poisonous. This flower only blooms at night and glows in the dark until early morning. During the bloom, it becomes fragrant; honeysuckle, being its blooming scent, attracts its main pollinator, the night-flying sphinx moth. However, normally the plant smells very foul. It is known by many different names, including thornapples, Jimsonweed, devil’s trumpets, mad apples, moonflower, devil’s weed, and heck’s bells (other word).

He personally really likes that they’re called Thornapples. As he was once described as rough and prickly. There’s an old traditional mnemonic: "Blind as a bat, mad as a hatter, red as a beet, hot as a hare, dry as a bone, the bowel and bladder lose their tone, and the heart runs alone." Rereading this mnemonic to other equines makes his heart flutter like the wings of a raven as he keeps a solemn watch over the plants, his only companion being the sphinx moths that harvest the nectar and spread the pollen.
