One Halloween she would never forget is when she dressed up as an inflatable cow. She had placed herself among the fake tombstones and plastic skeleton that decorated her porch. As trick-or-treaters approached her house clad in costumes ranging from superheroes to ghosts, Requiem waited with bated breath. The moment the first group rang her doorbell and yelled “Trick or treat!” she let out a loud “Moo!” The effect was immediate and glorious. She watched as eyes searched the yard, trying to locate the source of the mystery moo. Some ran off in a panick, others, too scared to knock again. She continued this performance well into the night, rumours quickly spread of a ghostly cow that haunted the house.
