Our kibby friend here has a little bit of a bruised ego. Things don't always pan out his way, but self-affirmation is important. Or, like, edgy tumblr gifsets say it is- so....

extra;; This is based on a real event. My best friend said this in a church (used to be a roller rink) during Sunday school. Their mom brings snacks and drinks for the kids. I got a glass of apple juice, took a sip, and it tasted like plastic. They wanted to try it, took a sip, and said that line. I had never been to that church before, hadn't gone to a church in years, and when I go because it was one of their parent's conditions for staying the night I get hit with that line.
