It was Grimm's first ever All Hallow's Eve, and he was not looking forward to it.
The ghouls that were said to haunt the streets, the witches that preyed on the weak, it all seemed scary to him.
The stories that were told and the tales that were sang were downright frightening all the same.
So, he decided to be the scariest, so he would not be afraid.
He pinned his ears back, wore a wolf-like headband.
He wore a heavy coat, with a fluffy tail attached right at the seams.
But when he looked into the mirror, oh boy, he scared himself!
So he grabbed his best friend and dressed them in a coat, red in color and a button that needed to be sewn.
He looked into their eyes, black buttons that told him, "do not be scared! All Hallow's Eve is here!"
And he smiled once more, hopped out the door, ready for all the candy that came from the store!
