what they like best about autumn:
she sat on the old couch, sure it squeaked like a mouse,
but sparrow didn't mind it at all. the couch was actually surprisingly comfortable. sparrow
sipped her pumpkin spice latte, the television was on, but only the faintest sounds of voices
came from it. she gazed out of window, many leaves of many sizes and shapes. but also in
a wide variety of reds, oranges, yellows and browns. it's almost lit up sparrows backyard.
sparrow just chuckled then smiled...what wonderful things to see. oh how wonderful....

☀-The cold weather that goes over and over in autumn. After a long day
in the cold breeze out side, vivian has to have a nice warm house to get
too after going anywhere. Siting down taking her thick blanket and her hot
drink putting something on the tv to enjoy the rest of the night.
🎃-Halloween! one of her favorite thing to do and even her favorite holiday.
You are never too old to go around and hunt for some candy or even
scare small children with the creepy things she wears.
☼-The lovely view of the trees that turn into so many colors! no matter
how many trees are around her in autumn , she loves it! Walking
around in the falling leafs and jumping into a pile of them is all ways the
best.

<33 When I was a but a young lady, I knew very little of the Below.

<33 We were only really taught about the vast prosperity of the Skyplate, how we were so lucky to have been existed up here rather than down there. Things Below did not concern us because none of it was ours observe. We couldn't have anyway, the cloud cover was always far too thick to see anything down there. We were reminded of our sanctity when we learned of the weather patterns; pollution from Below had become so uncontrollable and dense that the atmospheric pressure of Valia had been permanently altered, which is why the Sky Societies existed in the first place.

<33 "They are havens," we were told. "Safe from numerous gross afflictions caused by the Old Kind. Here, you will thrive untouched by corruption that lies beneath us. Our skyward grotto is one of pristine health with a delicate balance of beauty."

<33 Beautiful it certainly was; everything was washed in auralien shades of green, lavender, and blush. Flora sprung up from ever golden building's corner and planter, dangling towards the Skyplate's citizens as if to reach out and say, "Hello, you are so very lovely. Allow me this passing brush of your hair." But none of the usual pastels could ever compare to the richly warm coloration of the autumnal cycle.

<33 I always found myself longing for the soothing aesthetic of slow decay and the hearty browns that came with it. Our semi-simulated weather was always perfect at that time of year: perfectly warm with a slight breeze. I knew I could feel people's hearts gently soaring on the autumn wind when it floated throughout the towers and gardens; out of the tens of thousands of residents that live in the Skyplate's province, there were many hundreds who felt just I as did.

<33 There was always one thing that truly entranced me, however. Whenever the leaves would fall off of the trees and shrubs and coast onto the gentle waters that flow from the Main Water House, they would always arrive with such graceful twirls that delivered soft, cascading ripples to the water's surface. Something about that always made me feel so at home and contended.

<33 One day I walked with the stream and watched a procession of leaves make their way back to the Underside, where everything was cycled through our filters and pumped back into our Resource Systems for further use. Something nagged at me in the back of my mind that I couldn't follow them forever, but it vanished just as soon as it had appeared. The daze I was in had not quite reminded me of the lack of solid barriers around the Skyplate, except perhaps for the semi-permeable half-dome that guarded against UV rays and icy precipitates hundreds of feet above the Floor. Children simply had to rely on common sense and prohibition to not wander off the edge. Bright markers were also scattered across the edge to provide safety advisories.

<33 I didn't notice any of it.

<33 When the leaves were picked up by the passing breeze I had forgotten not to follow them, and like any other debris, the wind dropped me into the depths Below.
