Why this kalon is upset: When Mel finally decided to wake up from her slumber, she jumped out from her bed in excitement. Today was the first day of camp and Mel was excited for all the friends she would make and fun activities she would take part in! Upon arriving at camp, Mel felt lonely and scared, all the other kampers around already had a group of friends to talk to.

"Well no one can make friends that fast, you got to work for them!" Mel thought to herself as she worked up the courage to go up to someone to make conversation with them.

"Hello! I'm Mel! Today's looking like a great day huh?" Mel says, trying to make conversation with the other kampers. No response. Well maybe they are just feeling a little shy but that's understandable! So Mel tries again with another group of people but gets the same results, no response and yet again but with the same results.

Mel at this point gives up and sits near a tree by herself, with all kind of thoughts running through her mind. Like maybe it was the way she was dressed, or maybe the way she talked that they didn't want to talk to her. Mel sat by herself for a good portion of the day without anyone to make friends with. So instead she just sat there reading a book to calm herself down.

What your kamper does to cheer them up: Pip was skipping through Kamp when they happen to notice another kamper moving around talking to others. Pip watched as the group of kampers ignored the other kamper, not intentionally. As Pip watched the kamper, they began to feel bad for the them and wanted to be friends. When the kamper went to go sit by themselves, Pip worked up the courage to go over to them and sit down with them to make them less lonely, plus Pip could use a good friend at kamp to chat with!

"Hey there! I'm Pip! What are you reading? Looks interesting!" Pip sqeaked as they sat down next to the kalon.

The other kamper looked up at Pip as they smiled, "Hi! Oh my goodness! I'm Mel and well this one of the 'Harry Potter' books!"

"Oh! I love those books! The movies where also really good!" Pip responded with a giggle.

As the two kalon sat together, they talked for about stuff they liked for the rest of the day and you sure bet that Mel just made herself a new best friend.

Why this kalon is upset: She is upset because she came to the Kamp with her best friend but they are not in the same team. Here beste friend said to her that it would not matter that they are in different teams. But now her best friend doesn’t really speaks to her and ignores her mostly. Her best friend only do things with Kalons from her team. She even made the friendship bracelet with someone else from her team. Now Momo doesn’t know anymore if they are real friends.
What your kamper does to cheer them up: Pip felt sorry for Momo and then thought about the friendship bracelets. He made one and had no idea who he could give it to. „Wait here a moment“, he said and ran back to his cabin. When he came back, he had the friendship bracelet he made with him. „I know, it’s not the same like when your best friend would give you this but I hope you will like it“, with that words Pip gave her the friendship bracelet he made.

Why this kalon is upset:
Long long ago Andre stole a dragons egg,he managed to escape the angry mother but not before being cursed with partial muteness ,20 words a day,to be used wisely,


More recently he returned home(or to his parents house any way) from another long escapade, he discovered his parents had signed him up for a boring summer camp!they said he needed to take a break from all those "work trips" .He tried to complain but only managed a few sentences before he was physically unable to speak

Stupid dragons curse >:/

He stormed off too his room to find his suit case already packed with the basics.after gloomly sitting in his bed for a while he dicided he might as well go, when his parents had their mind set on something they never gave up.

He should probably tell his parents about that curse, they were getting suspicious but he didn't want to,not yet.then he wouldn't even to tell them that he is actually explorer and dragon tamer/theif/researcher.


So he packed his dragon journal,poetry book,modified gameboy supercomputer,and his precious baby red Wyvern(yes the one he stole,yes in the suitcase)

He loved his little Wyvern like his own son,he called him wicks and couldn't be without him.

He wanted to ask when he had to , because his parents didn't like to tell him about things until they were about to happen, but, He could not! he grunted. I pamphlet he found confirmed his suspicions, his parents had indeed only given him 10 minutes before the bus came.

Wicks would be fine in the suitcase for a few hours,he practically indestructible

He sulked on his bed for awhile.soon the bus came and he got on.
He spent the entire time in silence,some Kalons tried to talk to him but he ignored them.hehad no words left and he missed his Wyvern,Wicks, who was still in the baggage compartment.probalably sleeping.


When he got to camp the sun was setting.
some annoying Kalon asked his name and gave him a yellow shirt.
He stared at them until they gave up and wrote him down as "fluffy bunny Kalon"

He needed his suitcase,but the Kalons unloading it were too slow so he wrested it away from them screaming,hissing,and kicking.

He then ran to his cabin,unpacked,and cried himself to sleep.

Social interaction was very stressful and difficult with his curse

What your kamper does to cheer them up:

Zenith noticed the Kalon in the bunk above him was crying a lot last night, he wanted to know if he was ok.
The Kalon had arrived on the late bus,and was currently looking out the window at the other Kalons playing something outside.

Zenith approached him. "Uh excuse me are you ok? I heard you sobbing last night."

The Kalon thought about it for a while before slowly nodding.

"Oh ok, I am Zenith by the way and this is Wilbur"he said gesturing towards his Cardnal

"Andre"he replied steeping out of the way to reveal a small red bat like creature "Wicks" he said bluntly

hmm short and to the point.a Kalon of few words. Zenith didn't dare ask what the thing was but Andre noticed his confusion and pulled out his dragon journal.opening it and pointing to a page about Wyverns

"Oh..?" Zenith knew a certain degree of myths were true but not dragons.

Andre sat on the floor.

"You seem bored, want to play some board games"

Andre nodded.he still looked sad

After playing some games zenith went to the arts and crafts, to make him a gift since he seemed quite sad.

Later zenith presented him with the gift, a little dragon charm and a nice card.
Andre loved it.he explained shortly how he couldn't talk much.

Andre started getting teary.
Zenith came closer and slowly hugged him
Andre calmed down and hugged him back

Sometimes all you need is a friend and a hug.

most Kalons thought he was rude and avoided him,but zenith saw his sorrows and showed him kindness and friendship

Why this kalon is upset: Kahana is upset because he didn't catch any butterflies today. He was hoping to catch a Monarch butterfly, but the sun was setting and he had to head home.
What your kamper does to cheer them up:
Kahana goes home and reads his favorite book by Stephen King, IT. He sits down by the window as he reads and eats some caramel candy.

Why this kalon is upset:
home sickness hung heavy around her. it was awful to be at a place where she didn't feel accepted. it was just like school where her bad luck followed her everywhere. she sat on a bench and broke it by accident. she accidentally lost a soccer ball in the forbidden woods. the list went on and on from there.

kampers have her dirty looks as she passed by. "looks like it's bad luck's pet," someone joked about her while others laughed. she turned to look at them, and it just set them flying for the lake. one tripped on their own feet and tumbled down the hill while tripping all the kampers who were rushing to the lake. she rushed down to help them out and put out a paw to help them up. "are you okay?" she asked in a almost scared voice.

"yeah, if it weren't -" the kamper cut himself off as soon as he saw varian. "if you didn't send bad luck after us!" his friends agreed by nodding. "what about we give you your own taste of bad luck!" he signalled for his friends to pick her up and throw her into the lake. she was out in deep water as she heard them laughing. she swam to shore as clouds approached. her mind kept on bring back memories of the events and tears flooded her eyes as she fell to her knees and started to cry.

What your kamper does to cheer them up:
helena looked up to see the sky starting to cloud up and a heavy breeze was flying at her to the south. kampers started to run into different directions as the first drops hit the ground. she threw up her good and made a mad dash back towards her cabin. her paws carried her in on until she tripped on something large. she went flying into the mud in front of her, ruining her new sweatshirt. "hey, nice going! you made me trip on you and ruined my sweatshirt," helena turned around with at her booming while she said that.

varian looked up at the kalon who she heard whispers about to say wary of due to her quick temper and status from another country. she was crying but the rain made it seem like she wasn't. "i'm so sorry," she began to choke out in her voice that hung with saddness. "i didn't mean to-"

"stop talking, and help find shelter from the rain," helena interrupted. " after the rain is over, i'll deal with you then, okay?"

"okay. how about under that tree?" she said as she pointed it out to helena. helena nodded then lead the way. varian kept on crying in the way to the tree and sniffed really loudly. that caught helena's attention, "why are you sad?"

"today just had been hard on me because a group threw me into a lake after i went to help them out. i just miss home where i don't have to deal with others," varian answered.

"well, i don't like others crying. why not tell me about your home, and what you love about it? it might help," helena suggested with a slight shrug.

"home always makes me happy," varian answered with a smile. the weather started to clear up as varian started to explain why she loves her home. "it's in this big huge wonderful woods with animals that are just so beautiful. it always rains there, so i just love to mess around in mud often there mud always seems to help make me feel better."

helena put out a paw and noticed it stop raining. "your home seems to be a nice place." she paused as she noticed mud. "look over there! there's some mud!" as soon as helena said that, varian took off to the mud with a huge smile. it just rained and mud was her favorite thing to mess around in back at home. helena stood under the tree with a smile. "atleast, i made someone smile today," she muttered to herself with a small smile on her face.

varian finally felt at home.
