What does your komo do to celebrate spring?:
Well Alice's family often have big family reunions during the holidays and spring is no acceptation. They'll have either a outdoor BBQ at the local park if the weather is good or if it's too bad out they'll go to her great grandmother's house for dinner there, everyone brings something to the gathering be it chocolate eggs for the egg hunt for the younger ones or food for the meal. Despite Alice hating big gatherings she's usually goes with her parents and just kinda says by herself away from everyone till they have to eat then she gets her food and stays close to her mom till it's time to go home and doesn't really talk to anyone unless she really has too and even then she dosn't make much eye contact or hides her face with her hair while playing with it shyly.

to celebrate spring, prisma takes it upon herself to buy any medical herbs that will help her with her allergies.
though she loves bright flowers, she still has terrible allergies when it comes to pollen and dust being in the air.
so, before spring even begins, prisma will visit her local market to get a large supply of medical herbs for the season, and even some for the summer.

What do they do to celebrate spring?
Spring for the whole circus is crunch time. As the weather warms up it's their time to show off the show they had prepared all winter. Last minute props and complications always arise, so there isn't really time for extra celebrations.
Once the troupe is ready though, they celebrate spring with a bang. Bright lights and a loud spectacular show to welcome the new growing life into the world.

Writing: What does your komo do to celebrate spring?

Patkin is a Komo of simple pleasures, and they celebrate spring in a number of simple ways. Small ways. On the very first day of spring, they create a huge batch of rocks with flowers painted on them - sometimes with butterflies, ladybugs, and bumblebees thrown in for good measure - and they hide them all over the local parks. They also spend plenty of time simply sitting in quiet places (usually within sight of one of their hidden rocks, so they can be there in case it's found), sketching, reading, and generally enjoying the weather. Many of the sketches they do on days like these end up taped to the windows of local coffee shops, or stuck onto bulletin boards. If they're small enough, Patkin may even slip them into books at the library. Very rarely do they keep things for themselves. Unless it turns out really pretty. Then it ends up dated, trimmed, and pasted in their scrapbook.

bonnie loves a good picnic! or, perhaps what she REALLY loves is... baking for it. not just baking, of course, but... mostly baking. after all, it's her One True Passion in life, though the idea of scrump-diddly-umptious food with friends is always a-ok in her book! she loves making spring-themed desserts as well as fresh salads and sandwiches using the fruits and vegetables that happen to be in season... then, there's the picturesque little meadow, the checkered blanket, the gorgeous weather... bonnie sure loves to indulge in a quaint little time. of course, one can have a picnic any time of the year, buuuuut... there's just something special about doing it in the spring, you know? a kind of... romance about it, if you will. it's like having tea parties in a garden, except a little more rustic. oh, but she'd love a tea party too. anything she can cook up an excuse to bake for!

ramona doesnt do anything fancy, she usually just stays home and paints, watches easter specials, and creates animal-shaped and pastel-colored treats for herself to eat later. most of her days during spring are spent alone in her home because of allergies, though she doesnt particularly mind. it's nice enough just getting to enjoy the season at all despite her allergies, and it's always an excuse to spend time away from other people and finally get some much-needed alone time. though, she thinks if she was ever allowed to... she'd love to spend it with others. perhaps one day, she'll find some komos to enjoy some movies with.

Spring rolls around the glade slowly, first melting the icy branches, letting cool drips of water fall from their boughs. Several drops landed wetly on Arlo's head, and he blinked widely at the snowy surroundings. Nothing else spoke of warmth, but if he peered through the dense canopy of pine, he could see sunshine. It trickled down to where he was, bright and perfect.
Though snow and cold was tolerable for some, Arlo suffered greatly during the colder months. Fungi simply weren't meant to live through winter, and his mushrooms had to be tended to with much care. Still though, as his eyes flicked over the light filtering down, he did not think of his little colony. Instead, his mind had gone straight to Yarn.
Arlo pictured Yarn's bright red bloom, wilted by the winter's chill. He knew that a replacement wouldn't come for some months, but perhaps there was something else. Hyacinth? No, not yet. Tulip? No. A rose? Arlo sighed, that was wishful thinking

But just as he was about to give up hope, Arlo recalled a most delicate flower. He pressed his snout to the ground and began to sniff, following a trace of an airy scent, crisp on the spring air. Finally, he reached it, a bud as white as snow, peering out from bright green leaves. A snowdrop.

Arlo plucked it, careful to trim it at the stem to encourage new growth (He was something of a gardener after all). Would this do? It had none of the warmth of Yarn's flower, but all of his radiance. With a proud smile, Arlo trotted off to deliver his gift. Spring was for sharing after all.
