Without thinking I scooted over towards her and awkwardly laughed. "are you here by yourself?" I yelled over the chanting mob. She nodded and said something like "are you" and pointed to me.

A silence rose for the second and I began to reminisce over the past year. Oh no.

Panic and anxiety was the newest thing that I felt. "Did I waste this year?" "Was this a year to remember?" "I shouldn't have done that" and the biggest question was "what will happen next year".. "will I survive?"

The lady next to me had seemed to pick up on my state of panic and came closer to comfort me. A weight was lifted when I knew that someone was there with me.

I finally asked the question, "hey! What's your name? Mine is Kodiac" I yelled over the crowd. "Mine is Crystal!" It did suit her. Her features did resemble a crystal after all.

Day 1

To Who Ever it Might Concern,

Things aren't going well. The sun never visible and the rain burns. Not that I am able to go outside much anyway. But, I am to fear of what the world is coming to. I am stuck all hours of the day in the building. The floors are white and the walls are just as white. Kinda gives you this spooky vibe. I try not to think about it though. It's easier that way. Hey. maybe things will clear up. For now, I guess it's just time to get use to my new home.

We began testing today, but the never ending doom is not stopping. We were slightly held up today as we left a very important material behind. We all drew straws to see who would go. The acid rain burns threw most of the materials we have and it's worse on skin. I was fortunate enough to not be selected to go. I guess my work is more important here.

Last night the rain stopped and we send out the retrieval team. They should have come back by now but, they are no where in sight. I have no clue where they could be. We are trying to carry on with out the materials we left. But, it's going to be hard. We have to be careful not to let it spread.

We are all starting to lose it. The white walls meeting the floors are driving us insane. Everything is so bland and never unchanging like our fate. We stand facing certain doom and suffering. Only one member of the retrieval team made it back. He didn't have anything with him and had acid wounds all over him. He has started to get sick. We now must try to treat him or risk everyone becoming infected.

The one we were trying to treat died last night. We weren't able to save him in enough time. It's tragic but we now also suspect that it might have spread. Now, we have at risk ten others that have been exposed including myself. We have to make a hard choice whether to kick out those that could be possibly infected. That means that I could also be at risk.

The meeting was held today but before we could get started horrific things happened. Half of what we estimated to be infected died during the night. We now have reason to believe that anyone could be infected. We don't have anywhere to go. We are running out of choices and we will all surly be dead soon.
