Zahr is a mellow stallion who spends most of his time staring out over the fence,
as if in a daze. Once wild and now captured, but unable to ever return to the
wild due to a past injury. He struggles to relate to his new herd members and
tends to stick to himself. He feels trapped and the only things to ever make
him perk up is the sight of wild herds and Jull.

Story OR art: (300 Words)
I looked out over the fence, watching the wind rustle through the trees,
looking across the next field over at the distant trees beyond. I listened for the
distant sounds of the wild herd that occasionally sauntered past, hoping they
would walk past and yet hoping they did not. The sun was lowering, closing in on
the horizon as evening quickly approached. I knew my mind was drifting, but I
allowed the images of freedom to wash over me, my memories of running free
and wild. I faded into another world where I was filled with joy, the field before
me were open for me to explore and enjoy. The wind in my mane, the dirt
beneath my hooves, freedom as far as the eye can see. The sounds of the
herd around me, all as wild as I was. I raced, I fought, I was a wild-hearted
Khimaira that no beast or human could touch. I took off running across the
field, the sound of my hooves meeting the soil, the wind whistling in my ears,
the open fields ahead. I almost could not stop inside as the fence slammed
down into the earth in front of me. I watched in horror as the fence got longer.
I raced to get around it, but the faster I ran the faster the fence took form.
A sharp pain in my leg stalled my frantic sprint and the fences meeting
stopped me, I could see my herd on the other side. They lifted their heads,
looking at me with sad eyes before vanishing into an ever thickening
fog. I called to them over and over, but there were no replies until one
voice finally answered. "Are you okay?" I opened my eyes to see Jull, filling
my emptiness just a little.
