Why: As much as Arcane would love to be a different color, black has never been a "bad" color for him. To Arcane, who has naturally been one to regard you coldly before speaking, black is a perfect color to block out everyone else, and to hide your true feelings. It resembles a dark night where the clouds completely black out the moon, and a cave, mysteriously dark and yet to be explored. Arcane will hide himself away, and reside in darkness for many nights until he has found the perfect chant, or the perfect spell. As "surprising" as it is that Arcane is a sorcerer, the spells he is most familiar with are the one preformed at, not a full moon, but a new one. Those spells are the ones he can do by heart, having practiced them countless times to get it right on that one night. Arcane doesn't, however, want to have an all black coat, but does wish to be able to thrive and live in darkness for the rest of his life. With his cold personality and seemingly rock hard heart, many people say that Arcane would be better off as a crazy Viscet that lives up in a mountain cave with no social interaction. Arcane himself even thinks that that would be a better life style for his personality than now, which is where the only time he finds comfort is surrounded by darkness, and the only things he can see being black. 248 words.
