A happy go lucky type of person, he always finds a way to lighten the mood. He's personable, although around people who are standoffish he tends to be quieter unless he knows them well. He is accepting and considers many to be his family, even if they've only talked several times. He is sensitive and thoughtful, but when pushed to the point of frustration he tends to collapse upon himself. When he snaps out of it he pretends as if nothing happened and does his best to remain cheery and light-hearted. He doesn't want to let anyone down.

What sort of animal would they rescue/adopt if they could?:
With a passion for all animals, Alix would choose to rescue insects. Particularly a praying mantis or a queen ant that could use his help to survive. He knows these little guys are constantly overlooked and stepped on, so he'd love to give them a home with a steady food supply and let them grow in peace. As these cute little guys can't be adopted, he would rescue them from tough situations outside to give them a fighting chance.

Occupation:
From the very beginning Alix was a small kalon. He siblings were born bigger and stronger, and he was always being ignored or pushed around while they all played. He could never truly compare to his siblings, so he tried to find other ways to enjoy life. He would play around, creating things in the mud or dirt, and looking for small creatures to play with. One afternoon he heard his siblings screaming about something. He rushed over to see, and saw his eldest sister about to squish a poor spider. He stopped her immediately and picked up the spider with his paw, moving it away to safety. From this point he decided to become an Entomologist, and try to help others understand the little guys who can't speak up for themselves and are just trying to survive.

Short Personality: A shy and stuttering boy, if Milo can manage to form a coherent sentence around you, you must be something special. He's horribly absentminded and irresponsible, often loosing items and forgetting things just moments after being told them. Once he even forgot his own name. Milo tries to be trustworthy- he really does! Sadly, this poor sweet bab just can't get the hang of it. Extremely insecure, he's quite the hugger. The warmth of others gives him a sense of security that he can't give himself. [86/100]

What sort of animal would they rescue/adopt if they could?: Milo would love a Fancy Leopard Gecko (or, as he calls it, a Fencylippord Gikko) or two, but he'd probably accidently snuggle it to death or something of the sort. He's a sucker for cute things, and he finds geckoes to be the most adorable thing on the planet.

What sort of animal would they rescue/adopt if they could?: Jumping spiders ! They have a soft spot for all arachnids, but jumping spiders are their favourite.

Short Personality: (100 word maximum) Chia is very shy and keeps to herself. Rather then go out or talk, she likes to read or write. An aspiring author, she spends a lot of her time writing, hoping to someday publish a book. Even though she is shy, she does have a few close friends and treasures them greatly. Thier kindness and encouragement is what urges her on and keeps her from giving up.
What sort of animal would they rescue/adopt if they could?: Chia finds Iguanas quite fascinating. They have such beautiful colors and can be entertaining. Most people think they just sit there, but they are actually very interesting, and she would love to get one some day, and probably will sometimes in the near future. A calm and quiet companion, just like her.
Extra (Chia's journey to becoming an author):

Technically, Chia isn't a publish author, but she is a writer. She has always been captivated by the unknown and the fantastic, and is amazed at all the creative ideas and effort that are put into stories. Books give her a sense of hope when all seems hopeless. They are like her safe place, her happy place. Sometimes books serve as an escape for all the crazy stress in the world. She wants to create this feeling for other people, and give them a sense of security.

Even though Chia may seem quiet on the outside, her mind is constantly buzzing with ideas. Whenever she comes up with a new one, she writes it down immediately, and if she doesn't have any paper, she'll right it on her arm in permanent ink. It's very easy to forget an idea, and if you do, that potential story that could've been great is lost forever. So she doesn't care if her fur is stained in black sharpie for a week. It's all worth it for that little idea that could blossom into something wonderful.

Every November, there is something called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). The basic gist of it is to write 50,000 words in one month. That means at least 1,667 words a day. No editing, no revising, just get it done before the deadline. That stuff can be fixed later. Chia participates in it every yet and sets aside time to work on her story each day of November, even in Thanksgiving. She has won quite a few times, but she rarely ever goes back and edits it. Usually, she already is working on a new story. But this year, it's going to be different. When NaNo is over, she's going to keep writing. This is her chance to get her work out there!

Short Personality: (100 word maximum) Being a caring and kind fellow, he wasn't always this way. At a young age he lived in the ghetto, like many do. His childhood full of sirens and the stench of offset skunks and rotting garbage. Never had he wished a better life, he always felt happy and privileged. Everyone told him he was lucky, he was handsome. He had everything? Right? So since his childhood he's been an outwardly cool and giving dude, it actually brings him quite a bit of trouble, but he always seems to take it in stride. He doesn't seem to have friends, curious.
What sort of animal would they rescue/adopt if they could?: This babe is a rather caring kiddo, within reason he'd adopt really anything as long as he could give it the proper care. But he's always had a soft spot for ferrets and mongooses (mongeese?).

"HEY! Nygma! Get your goofy head over here!", the dark furred child sneered at him, his overgrown teeth pulling back his bottom lip as he grinned. Edwin glanced behind him but continued walking, a nervous and shifty stature was gathered together as he continued. "I'm kind of busy, sorry."
"Hell no kid. I told you to come here!", the unnamed dark kalon shifted forward rapidly, his steely gaze burning into Ed's sides.
"I said no.", Ed pushed his round glasses up his nose before walking on faster, his stride much longer than normal. It made him unsteady, but he was confused and scared. He recognized this dark furred kid, he worked with the crime family. Ed's ears flattened against his scalp as his memory grew sharper. He was being targeted by higher powers, but why?
"EDWIN! Come here! I'm not asking again!", the still unknown kalon surged forward, his shirt fluttering in the wind. His intense gaze was alluring but ultimately frightening really. Ed took cautious steps towards the smaller male, it was terrifying, his pulse felt like it was fluttering dangerously. "W-what do you need from me?".
"I simply need you to follow me. My friends might need more from you though.", the sneer was plastered on the dark kalon's face once more.
"Can I as-ask what your name is? I feel like this walk might take a bit."
"That you're correct Eddy. This will take a while. My name is Leonidas. But you can call me Corvin.", Now called Corvin, smiled sweetly. His tail whipping behind him cheerily. He flexed his arm and grabbed Edwin's hand.
Edwin wasn't sure what to do, so he laced their fingers together and looked at Corvin dumbly, eyes wide behind the lenses of his glasses. "Now what."
"Follow me, kiddo."

Short Personality: Jasmine is the haughty type, very vain and a bit self-centered. She can never settle for second place- only the very best for her and her animals. Still, she is very caring of those who are close to her. They, too, will never have to settle for second best- she makes sure that they are treated like the royalty they are for knowing her.
What sort of animal would they rescue/adopt if they could?: A chinchilla! They're so soft, and they're really energetic. It's fun to watch them run around the house. They're just adorable little darlings.

A day in the life: Another slow morning.

Jasmine was boredly huddled under a blanket, tired and slouching on the couch. A bag of organic tortilla chips was opened next to her, which she was idly munching on while playing some video game or another. It was difficult, what with the whole paws situation. The controller was not meant for her. But she had eventually gotten the hang of it- this was a pretty good game, especially for the downtime in between sessions of people doting on her.

Before she knew it, she was getting down to the last crumbs of the bag. Huh. That was funny, she hadn't remembered eating that much. She reached into the bag for the last few chips, only to feel not chips. Instead, it was a ball of fluff.

Oh.

"Marina! How rude. You've stolen all my chips!" By then she had pulled the chinchilla out of the bag, holding her up. Marina held a little nubbin of chip in her little front paws, gnawing on it fervently. With a pout, Jasmine set her back down. She couldn't stay mad at Marina for long. She was just too cute. Of course, she'd have to remember to ask for her water to be refilled later- that much salt couldn't be good for a fluffy little creature.

She balled up the now empty chip bag and lobbed it in the direction of the trash. With a shriek down the hallway through her open door, she ordered, "Jeeves! Get me more chips!"
