why does she collect knives:
When you currently hold the record for fastest tomato slicing in the world, you have to keep your game up! Celeste practices whenever she has a chance, or just show off her skill (which is why she also carries around tomatoes in her backpack). I guess she's just paranoid that someone will beat her record? Or maybe she's just obsessed with getting faster and faster.
I guess you may want to know how the heck this teen got in the record book for slicing tomatoes, when you'd think it would be some famous chef... No, Celeste is not a chef, but we can all blame her skill on her older brother. Left alone with his sibling, Celeste's brother didn't see a problem with leaving his tween sister alone in the kitchen, especially in the middle of slicing tomatoes for dinner (he was making some weird salad). Celeste, seeing the thing she was not supposed to touch left out, couldn't resist. She started to mess with the tomato. She tried to make the slices as thin as possible, moving onto faster. This obviously ended up with her almost chopping her paw off, but even in the ER getting stitches, Celeste couldn't stop smiling. After this first incident Celeste would snatch time to practice slicing things, it became an obsession. When she was old enough for her parents to give in and let her help with meals, they were surprised at her knife work. Celeste never formally fessed up to her practice time, but the whole family has an idea of how she got so good. Tomatoes, being the first thing she tried slicing, became her main focus and her brother, taking pride in her skill after getting over blaming himself for the ER trip entered her into the record books.

Her father used to work in the army, so when Lauren was a small girl, he used to give her his old pen knives and devices he had no use for. She would muse over them for hours on end, awaiting her fathers return. When she grew up, the habit of obsessing over knives kinda stuck. She still has the very first knife her father gave her, it sits in a trophy cabinet with plated gold, and she still checks over it every night, making sure it's in tact, like how it was when she was small.

Adeline smiles euphorically, whipping out a velvety case to show off her assortment of vintage knives. You're stunned at how crisp and pristine they seem to look, with the metal gleaming, and the wooden handles freshly polished. Still, after a bit more studying, you note a few signs of avid use, little splotches of wear and tear that even sanding, sharpening, and polishing couldn't hope to get rid of.

She whips out a few, her eyes shining with delight. "Just observe," she remarks with a wink, and promptly rises from her seat.
Then suddenly, in a dramatic flourish of her pale arms, she tosses two into the air and powerfully slams two more into a wooden target hanging on the wall nearby, demonstrating her strength.

why does she collect knives:
Bailey doesn't have a long history with knives, she didn't have something happen when she was younger that made her just love knives. Honestly, that's unrealistic.
Bailey likes knives because they are super cool. bailey's the type of girl that loves to be known for something cool/dangerous. Being knife girl has it's perks. A) nobody dares to cross you B) you get to bring knives to school C) you have a reputation of being bad and dangerous.

why does she collect knives: one reason is she feels more protected with them for the fact she lost her best friend to someone who killed her and the last thing she gave her was a collector knife and so that's how it started ( her friend gave her a knife ) and she only collects special knives like ones with nice handles or custom ones no regular knife you can by from any store. Yeah she only carries ones that aren't so special on her for the fact she doesn't want to get robed of her finest ( her favorite knife Is the one her friend gave her, its a one of a kind it has a blade that has hearts carved out of the top ( like top of the blad the non sharp part ) and then the handle is galaxy with friendship carved in the handle .

why does she collect knives:
A few reasons. One, they look and are cool. Two, you can do so many tricks with them, and knives can be used for pretty much everything. Three, who doesn't like collecting? Four, Emma's just addicted to knives.
In all seriousness, Emma just loves knives, and she's proud of owning so many knives and knowing what to do with each of them. Emma sometimes even makes her own, and she has a lot of experience with that, so her knives turn out to look and be professionally made.
