Betelgeuse is a nice young viscet. He might be the youngest one in his pack but he's the bravest. After being in a viscet mill and having to go through it, he wants to help as many little ones as he can that. Betelgeuse doesn't listen very well when he gets an idea in his head and just goes through it to the end. He can be a bit annoying at times, but the rest of his pack knows that he's just trying his best. When Betelgeuse is on missions, he's very straight forward at first but if something goes wrong, or if a little one is left behind he'll stop for nothing to save the visclings. He's a whole different viscet when he puts his armor on. He takes charge, and becomes the leader. When Betelgeuse isn't on missions, he's either cleaning his armor or telling stories to the little ones. He's very sweet to them, and opens his heart up to the visclings. Around the other older viscets, he's acts a bit stubborn to them and acts like he doesn't want to listen but he's listening to every word they say. Betelgeuse looks up to the elders, his "mother" and the leader, 182. They guide him and he comes to them for anything and Betelgeuse respects them.

"The first thing I remember was the soft touch of my mother and her warmth. She loved me with all her heart, even if I was born in a strange, cold, dark and very dirty place. The next thing I knew she was trying to hide me away from the two upright creatures. She was very protective of me, and would hiss and try and bite them if they got too close. They looked at her for a few moments, and seemed to talking to each other about my mommy. I cuddled close to her, trying to hide. One of the upright creatures seemed to aim something at my mom and she jumped, growling loudly at them. One of the humans pointed to me and chuckled slightly. My mother curled around me, slowly calming down and closing her eyes. I whined, gently trying to wake her up. That’s the last time I saw her, the creatures took me away, I wiggled and yelled at the top of my lungs to get away from them. They tagged something with strange looking symbols on my ear and they threw me into a cold metal box, closing the lid. Where was my mommy? I kept asking myself, screaming out for her. I felt the box being lifted up and away, the next thing I knew I was being thrown onto a loud machine, it kept making a weird growling noise. I curled up tightly and closed my eyes, hoping I would see my mommy soon.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬When I woke up, I felt a hand reaching in for me and pulling me out. I was too tired to fight back; I didn’t have any milk for a long time now. I hissed weakly and the creature muttered out a number, “777, must be a really lucky one.” It chuckled and handed me off to another creature who stuffed a rubber thing in my mouth. I wiggled, refusing to drink out of it. The creature snorted and threw me into another box; at least this it had holes in it so I could see. I curled up in the back of the box, as the creatures kept throwing boxes of other little ones like me around me. They loaded us up onto another strange growling machine and then moved us again. I whined out for my mommy, hoping that she would come and save me, but my cries got weaker as the strange machine kept moving. I curled up in a tight ball and fell asleep, hoping someone would answer my calls.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬I woke up in a jolt the next time, my metal cage flying into the air! I didn’t know what was happening it and hurt when the cage hit the ground; I tumbled out and was shaking, very scared. The next thing I know was a mouth grabbing my ruff and carrying me away. I wiggled and wiggled, calling out for my mommy. The creature gently put me down, next to a warm and soft other creature, I smiled a bit, thinking it was mother and curled up next to it, feeling safe. That’s when I met my other mom, her name was Snow and she was always very kind to me, like my real mother was.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬I woke up, feeling the warm sun on my back. I blinked and looked up, seeing a white viscet looking down at me. “Hello little one.” She smiled. I yelped slightly, surprised it wasn’t my mother. I got up quickly and saw some different viscets around me, some wearing some kind of armor. “777? That can’t be his name forever.” One of them said. “How about Betelgeuse?” one of the older ones suggested. “Betelgeuse?” Another asked. “Yes…it’s a sun, I think it fits him with that bright yellow pelt.” The older one answered. “Betelgeuse.” They seemed to all agree. That’s when I met my pack, they all were like me. They had tags on their ears and numbers on the tags, but each of them had a name…well other then 182. He was the alpha, and liked his number name. He loved me a whole lot; in fact he was the one that saved me from the metal cage and evil creatures. He was like a dad to me, always looking after me and teaching me things. 182 wanted me to becoming Alpha after him, he saw the light in my eyes and love in my heart. When I became old enough, he gave me armor that suit me. He coded named me “The Angel.” It was my job to go out with the other ones with armor like me and save little Visclings, like you from the evil creatures they called humans. I’m glad to have this job; it’s what my mother would want."
