username;; Max
name;; Pandora
name meaing;; In Greek mythology, Pandora's curiosity led her to
open a mysterious box, thereby releasing misery and hope into the
world.
gender;; Female
personality;; As you have probably already inferred, Pandora is
very curious. She's always the one who wants to know exactly what's
going on, and always wants to be included in everything. She's very
hopeful, which can often backfire on her when things go wrong.
because of her high expectations, she's often left disappointed.
family relations;; Pandora has always looked up to her mother
the most. She aspires to be just like her.
favourite thing in the world;; Although Pandora isn't a very
materialistic pup, her favorite thing has got to be her memory box. Inside,
she keeps belongings of hers and her family's that are important to her
and she will always cherish. She hopes to pass the memory box down to
her daughter, if she has one in the future.
one story;; Pandora heard Ginora laughing. She had quite a
strange laugh, her sister. Then again, Pandora believed everything
Ginora did was strange. "Come on, Panda, it was just a joke!"
10 minutes before
Pandora's mother had just finished doing her braid in front
of the mirror. She knew how to do it herself, but she'd always
liked when her mother did her hair for her for reasons she wasn't
quite sure of even for herself. After she'd thanked her, Gina left.
Suddenly, Pandora felt the splatter of paint on her back, followed
by a wave of pain. She spun around only to get hit in the face with
a paint ball. Behind the scheme was her prankster sister, Ginora.
Ginora spun around and made a run for it. Ginora was stronger, but
Pandora was quicker, so she jumped on Ginora's back, the paintball
gun falling out of her paws. "Will you quit it?!"
"Come on, Panda, it was just a joke!"
"An annoying joke, just like all the rest of your jokes."
Ginora was always pranking her siblings whenever her parents
weren't home, so of course, she waited until Gina had left before
she attacked. Ginora rolled her eyes at her little sister. "Come on,
let's go eat. Dad left us food!"
Pandora nodded. "Be there in a sec. By the way, do you still want
that paintball gun?"
"Nah, it's yours."
After her sister had left, Pandora bent down to pick up the paintball
gun. This'll make a great addition to her memory box.
i am just going to have to say this
pandora opened a
pithos or jar not a box.
also when pandora opened the
pithos everything
exept hope went out.
juat saying
its not important at alljust important to me
When Zeus was so angry at Prometheus for giving people fire, he was also mad at the people who had tricked him into taking the wrong bag of meat. Zeus got back at the people by getting Hephaistos to make a beautiful woman, whom he named Pandora (which means all-gifts).
Zeus sent Pandora down to earth and gave her as a present to Prometheus' brother, Epimetheus. Zeus told Epimetheus that he should marry Pandora. Also, Zeus sent Pandora with a little box, with a big lock on it (Actually in the earliest versions of this story it is a sealed pottery vase). He said not to ever open the box, and he gave the key to Epimetheus. But Pandora was very curious about what was in the box. She begged Epimetheus to let her open it, but he always said no. Finally one day he fell asleep, and she stole the key (or broke the seal) and opened the box (or vase).Out of the box flew every kind of trouble that people had never known about before: sicknesses, and worries, and crimes, and hate and envy and all sorts of bad things. The bad things all began to fly away like little bugs, all over the place. Pandora was very sorry now that she had opened the box! She tried to catch the bad things and put them back in the box but it was too late. They all flew away.
But the very last thing to fly out of the box, as Pandora sat there crying, was not as ugly as the others. In fact it was beautiful. It was Hope, which Zeus sent to keep people going when all the nasty things got them down.
The story is told that pandora has a box, but originally it was a closed vase, not a pithos. I love greek mythology and I prefer that people have the truth.
