Why you chose her name: She reminds me of deserts and sand, but I didn't want too much of a cliche' so I decided to translate "Sandy" into Latin. Her name means "sandy" or "gritty" which suits her markings, I think.
Why you chose to apply for her: I would love a Equid, and I've been waiting for ages, but I'm not a totally confident artist, although I'm learning, and many of the equids I've liked (quite a few!) have required art. I wouldn't mind doing art of an equid I own, but with so many better artists trying to win something using art would be pointless. When I saw this beauty I thought "Oh no, another art form, I bet it." I was so happy to find out it wasn't art. Also, I love her colors and the two-tone base coat makes her really unique. She is one of my favourite equids so far, and I'd be so proud to own her. I've been stalking the equid thread, and getting my first would mean quite a bit to me. This equid really fits my personality, and I love her.
Will you keep her active among the WME community? If so, how do you plan on doing so?: I'm going to volunteer her for the W.M.E cartoon that's being made, if Horsey agrees to it, and possibly offer her in the "Breeding for Equidless players" section of the fan-club. I'm also going to write up a full history for her and start a special "My Equids" thread devoted to my equids, which, hopefully, will start with her. I will also join the RP. Oh, and, congrats to the future owner, who-ever they are. And to everybody else (Most likely including me. .3.) the wait is half the fun! ;3

Why you chose her name: Esther is of Hebrew origin and means star. It was the name of a queen and so is fit for something beautiful and breath taking like her. Her coloring also for some reason remind me of a star or the dust of a star.
Why you chose to apply for her: I choose to apply for her because I have been wanting a WME and she is beautiful. My favorite horse coloring has always been duns and buckskins so to me she is right out stunning.
Will you keep her active among the WME community? If so, how do you plan on doing so?: Yes, I would love to do art of her and if possible I would like to join the role play for WMEs.

Why you chose her name: I wanted her name to reflect something to do with her colour, and also to do with the fact that she is a golden gem among the equids. However all of the names that came to mind were things like Oriella or Peta, which I didn't think quite fit her. So I widened my search and Lauralin was the name that jumped out at me. It means Land of the Valley of Singing Gold, which I could see describing the lands that the equids came from, as well as the beauty of this equid.
Why you chose to apply for her: I do not have an equid but have been silently stalking the thread for quite some time looking for the chance to get one of these beauties. I finally put in my first form to try for the 400 equid that Horsey did, but of course that has not ended yet so I don't know if I will win her (if I do, and she becomes my first equid I will make sure I pull out of this so that someone else may get the chance to win an equid also! I hope that it is alright that I try out for this beauty at the same time, since I don't have an equid yet) I am so excited to finally have the chances to try out for an equid of my own since I have been admiring them from afar without the thought to try to actually get one for myself..
Will you keep her active among the WME community? If so, how do you plan on doing so?: I will definitely try to keep her active yes. I have been busy with school and work but this is the one website I actually spend almost all of my online time playing on. I will definitely be drawing her for myself and would love to submit some of these pictures to the fan club, or just have them on the oekaki for other WME owners to be able to see. I would look into maybe finding someone to breed her to or find a mate for her, as well as look forward to making some more CS friends through the community ^^ I might even look at joining the role play, though I am not very good at those and tend to shy away from them.

Why you chose her name: Adding a to leanbh, the word for “child” in Irish, brings a sense of warmth – “O child” or “darling child.” I chose this name for this filly because I sort of imagined her as an childish, playful and radiant WME. She contrasts greatly with my usual choice of the darker characters.
Why you chose to apply for her: Well, I just really like her design. I have no WME, while I have been trying out for a few. As I said, she does contrast greatly with my choice of characters and personalities, and I like that, then her eyes. I've always loved green eyes, I have a pair in my face, and her brilliant emerald ones struck me.
Will you keep her active among the WME community? If so, how do you plan on doing so?: Yes, of course! Well, I'll join roleplays, join the fanclub, order as much art of her as I could afford and make her her own page.

Why you chose her name: Shantih means peace, and a horse I once knew, and loved was called Shantih.She reminds me of this equid so much.She was a dun connemara, sweet, kind, and forgiving. She was put down due to injury. I don't know why the remind me of each other, they don't look particularly similar, but they both seem to have the same forgiving nature, and kind eye.
Why you chose to apply for her: She is beautiful. Partly for the reasons I have listed above, Partly the fact I have never had the chance to own a WME, and partly because, like I said, she is truly beautiful. She has a quiet, yet powerful presence, and I was immediately drawn to her.
Will you keep her active among the WME community? If so, how do you plan on doing so?:Of Course, I will breed her at some point, and create a topic about my future WMEs. I will also get as much art as possible, by ordering some, and colouring lines in myself.

Why you chose her name: Catalyst : this word means ''A person or thing that precipitates an event'' or something that causes a change.
In my own words I'd simply explain that she reminds me of someone who would have an effect on others. It's as if she's gone through a lot, but still seems so optimistic... Like her single honest smile could save a life.
I also chose it because a while ago I tried out for an adoptable I fell in love with, sadly I didn't win her and it left a little hole in my heart. When I saw this beauty all that came to my mind was 'catalyst', it fit so perfectly. Better than I imagined or ever even thought of using that name again. It's something about her colors and markings, every time I look at her the song 'Catalyst' by Linkin park starts silently playing in my head. Which is also an important song to me. I just couldn't ever pick anything else.

Well firstly part of the reason she would be my first WME is because in this cliche way, I really have been waiting for the perfect one. It's a species close to my heart that I've always admired, nevermind their popularity. And it's just HER, she's so so unique - something I always look for. The way the hindquarters are a darker color, every white marking and stripe, it all makes her who she is and adds another tiny detail for me to want her all to myself. You truly designed her beautifully and unlike any other, an outcast like myself, she would complete me in a way that's hard to describe. I just really hope whoever should get the chance to own this hearthrob will want.. no, NEED her as much as I do <3

I would surely love to ropleplay her first of all. Not to mention displaying her as much as I can, just to show off 'my amazing little WME <'3
I'd write countless stories, poems, draw her every chance I get and I've already got a fitting personality for her that I want to share with the whole wide world, by creating her own page too hehe. Hopefully Catalyst would find happiness in the future as well and that I'd be able to breed her if it seems right.
I'd just never leave her alone, sitting there unused. I don't think I'll get another chance like this, ever.
