Caelus found weakness in few things, one may suspect a weakness would be that he couldn't hear. Yet, they'd be mistaken. His greatest weakness was his trust in cats. He was unable to hear their gossip, their whispers behind his back. He was a prime target. It was his fateful downfall, every cat had one, although, it wasn't like he knew this was his failure point.

It was like trying to break a piece of glass, so durable until you hit it in the right spot. Everything broke under enough pressure. Water could tunnel stone, it was all about figuring out how to exist without damage. Yet Caelus could not figure this out, his trust full and giving. There was never a single doubt in his mind that all cats deserved trust.

All it was, was an arrow to his failure point. No matter how many cats he trusted, nearly half of them would betray him. Yet, he never seemed to learn, handing out his trust like candy on Halloween. Why couldn't he learn? It was always a take from him, his heart aching from how much he lost from his false trust.

Yet, there was a reason he never stopped trying.

Elysia.

Her bright energy powered him through the pain, telling him every cat deserved a wink of trust. He refused to stop trying, stop making an effort.

But that was his weakness. His failure point.

In a place like Cor it's very important to always keep the upper hand and always know your surroundings. Without the ability to hear it can get very dangerous even in the Upper Circle. Sometimes smaller giants find their way out through an undiscovered exit and endangered the cats of the Upper Circle. Said cats aren’t as good at fighting dinosaurs as the cats of the Lower Circle are, so keeping a good eye - and ear - out for any possible danger is really important.

This often drives her to adopt a more hostile and reserved demeanor towards her clan members, opting to disappear from the clan's territory for days at a time to seperate herself from any potential relationships and to not only hone her own hunting skills - which she views as essential for preventing a recurrence of the indulgent event that cost her ears - but to patrol outsider territory in her solitude and mull over her thoughts.

In spite of her outwardly detached demeanor, she maintains a potent sense of loyalty towards the other kynigós within her specific hunting group. Moreover, she reserves a deep respect for the apóstolos, who she feels is one of the sole cats capable of comprehending her hardship - given their similar experiences in the face of duty and life prior to Astron.
