Armadillo's been around the whole world - or at least, he claims he has. Not that anybody's actually equipped to prove him wrong, since mostly everyone in the Clan is at least from the north, if they aren't from the tundra. They have no idea if what he's describing is correct or not, or if it was even possible for him to travel that far. His stories are pretty entertaining, though, even if some of them are a bit unbelievable, so hardly anyone disputes him.

According to Armadillo, he's seen the blistering heat of deserts, the humid atmosphere of rainforests, the salty air of ships on the sea. That's how he'd been able to travel everywhere - being a stowaway on a cargo ship was exciting, catching hidden mice and swiping a loosely boxed snack or two. Once he'd even managed to get aboard a cruise ship. Apparently the passengers were fond of him, slipping him caviar under tables and letting him sleep in their soft carpeted bedrooms.

Of course, he'd met many, many different cats on his adventure, all with different experiences and ways of life. That meant he'd also picked up plenty of skills. Thanks to the grassland cats, he knew how to hide in plain sight, from birds and other predators. The forest cats had taught him how to stalk silently in the underbrush, and the marsh cats had taught him how to keep dry, and how to free his paws from sticky mud.

In the desert, he'd learned how to keep cool, and in the rainforest, he'd learned how to identify safe fruits and insects. He'd even met a few cats in the sea, when he'd snuck aboard his ships - thankfully, they'd taught him how to swim.

And now, he was up north in tundra, ready to gain more skills and experiences. He says this might be the end of his adventure - he's pretty confident he's been most everywhere else in the world, so why not settle down for a while? That could end up being its own adventure.

AHHHoneysong was exiled from another clan, the same one Hollowstar used to be in. Hollowstar (Hollowlight at the time) was exiled and has been on the move since. Soon after, Honeysong was exiled for the same reason and caught up to Hollowlight.
AHHThey traveled together for moons almost nonstop, they met rogues, kittypets, a strange dog that could talk in 'cat'.
AHHThey were unfortunately seperated when Honeysong got swept up in a river. Hollowlight waited and searched for ages and couldnt even find a scent Honeysong. She waited for about a moon before she assumed Honeysong was dead and moved along.
AHHHoneysong was in fact still alive, a twoleg found Honeysong at a riverside and swept him up and brought him to the vet. The vet made sure Honeysong was all and well and Honeysong was released back into the wild almost 3 moons after he'd been lost. He ran up the river he'd been swept in and found the place he had been separated. He saw an abandoned temporary den. He then set his journey to find Hollowlight.
AHHHe asked from cat to cat if they had seen Hollowlight and found a few abandoned dens which had a feint scent of Hollowlight. After traveling for 4 moons, he finally found her. Hollowlight and Honeysong had been reunited.

The wind calls to Thymeskip, ruffling his fur with fond affection. Another time he would have followed it, would've answered its call.

He's done traveling now.

He was not so bold as to claim he had traveled the world— that was impossible, it stretched on into infinity. But he had traveled further than most. He had stood atop russet cliffs taller than the sky, staring down into dark teal waves below. He had trundled through snow, icy white crumbling beneath his paws while angry cold winds screamed in his ears. He had climbed mountains to gaze upon the world below, forded rivers, crossed deserts, played in fields and meadows. He had eaten strange prey he would never again see in his life, made friends with cats with lives and experiences infinitely different than his own, slept with Clans and Tribes and rogues and loners for safety. He didn't travel for any particular reason, but just to see what was out there. It felt right, at the time.

All that was over now.

The chronic pain had started up only shortly after the humans had all vanished. Hip pain. Too many nights of sleeping in cold areas, on hard surfaces, in uncomfortable positions will do that to you. And walking made it worse— which was such a shame. He had always wanted to make it all the way up to where the sun shone for months on end, just to see what it was like.

His days of adventuring were over, but this wasn't so bad. The Clan had been kind to him, and the months he had spent acting as his own doctor were coming in handy. They needed more medics here, and though the plants were somewhat unfamiliar, the concept was not.

And besides— he thought, risking a glance over at the cat next to him, the pale tom that he had slowly coaxed out of his shell— there were more adventures than just the physical ones, and this one was shaping up to be very interesting.
