If Silvershade knew what Pokemon was, their favourite pokemon would be Altaria. The Pokemon itself reminds them of a beautiful blue sky with a few clouds scattered around; its wings as fluffy as their own chest is. They find themselves constantly thinking about what it would be like to join the birds up in the sky, and Altaria feels like a perfect representation of that dream. The Dex entry from BW states that "If [Altaria] bonds with a person, it will gently envelop the friend with its soft wings, then hum." This is also very telling of Silvershade's personality; they are the one their friends go do when they are feeling sad, and they will always try their best to cheer them up.
