Shoreclan has a wide variety of animals they meet, so it differs from the species.

In the forest, the cats are fond of deer and their babies that come through because they're peaceful. On the other hand, badgers and foxes are hard to deal with. The cats don't have any communication connections between these animals, so there isn't any way to resolve things without violence. Most of the time, the badgers and foxes are usually the ones that attack first. Shoreclan doesn't have any clans at their borders, so there's no need to drive the animals out.

In the ocean, the cats love dolphins and sea turtles (the ones that are too big to catch). Sometimes the sea turtles will come onto the shore and lay their eggs, so Shoreclan vows to protect the eggs from bird predators. The cats that can swim really well might go into the ocean to greet the dolphins, but they can never play for too long. However, the cats need to be aware of sharks and seals that might mistake them for a meal. Shoreclan cats are warned to not go too far into the ocean where other cats don't have time to swim out and save them before getting hurt. Luckily, there haven't been any accidents and no one's gotten far away from the shore.

There was once a time where cats would consider it an absolute blessing to come across a yearling fawn, for it was considered to be a sign of good fortune for the tribe’s youth.
During the early days of this tribe, a badger had wandered a bit close for the tribe’s comfort and resulted in a brutal fatality of an elder. From that day on, a wise saying were passed down from generation to generation of all cats, ‘’We learn from our past to better the future.’’
Regardless of how frequent vast animals come across the tribe territory, that historical event has always left them with their guards up. From the biggest bear to the smallest shrew, this organization of felines doesn’t risk the chance of potential danger coming to themselves or their tribe mates. To this day, elders tell the tale of the fawn’s blessing and the badger’s siege.

How does your clan feel and react to other animals like deer and badgers?

Deer are considered a sign of good fortune, of a good spring to come full of life, but also slight worry, as wolves often follow large deer herds for food. They appreciate the smaller herds that come through much more. Deer and their fawns are an interesting and rather uncommon sight that means that it's a wonder for new grown cats to behold.

Predators like badgers are menaces, often an omen of destroyed structures and a risk. Sentinels are essential to make sure that these fierce predators stay away from the camp and that any hidden storages are protected.

Leafbare is coming! Tell me some things your cat does to help prepare around the camp. This can be just about anything depending on what your clan's territory is like!~

Within the camp, things get busy in preparation for the harsher leafbare weather. While only the trees in the upper forest are conifers, the scarcer vegetation makes the finding and hoarding of herbs crucial. The medicine cats constantly spend the leaffall scrounging for herbs and drying them to make sure they are prepared and available during leafbare. Between the carefully planned rations of the clan, jerky is also made in order to have something for emergencies, stores mostly built up during newleaf in order to be flexible in case leaffall has a harder time with building enough of a surplus for jerky. Jerky's a technique mostly mastered by the medicine cats since they already have the experience of drying herbs as well. Another thing that is done is a mass collection of moss in the area, careful not to over-harvest, but the large amount of moss is dried and packed into all dens but especially the Elder's Den and Nursery to protect the more vulnerable members and keep them warm. Reeds and, if they can get it, immature bamboo, can also be used to pack it. If the clan gets desperate, they may also creep into wheat fields and swipe some cut bundles to help as well, though this has a large risk of dogs and even humans around.

Prompt: Wildclan is a bit inexperienced with preparing for lead-bare. Most of its members were housecats before the humans disappeared, so the cold was never a concern for them. They had warm houses and snuggly blankets at their disposal. Now, though, it's harder. Luckily for them, some humans had their bills set to an automatic payment system before the vanishing, so some apartments still have heat. Wildclan scouts for these places and temporarily relocates camp if needed. They'd rather just scavenge for blankets, though, and avoid uprooting themselves for a season.
