Why should you be a mod?: man, I love plumerians.. where do I start? I have been a mod of a few species before, my own- Baloos and Icecream Dragons, and also Dittarrans. I love being a mod because I feel that I can handle tricky situations well while also keeping the peace and not making anyone feel targeted or cornered. I personally don't like it when mods are raging at me for every little thing, so I will pop in when needed, but refrain from being too involved.

Why should you be a mod?: Now, I can't say i'm on CS 24/7, but I do come on at least 2-4 hours a day. Maybe more. I'm going to be honest and say I never have been applied for a moderator job, but that's because I've never tried out for any. But trust me, I have had plenty experience from others. I feel I am capable of taking up the moderator position here, and being unbiased toward's situations. I'm always trying not to step on other user's toes. My grammar- at least I think- is great and I look forward to joining the Staff in the future!

Charchar2 chooses artists/guest artist's on their ability on designing, and possibly how active they will be. Please do not request to be an artist unless Charchar2 specifically states. You could always try out for a Guest artist slot when they are open though!

This goes into the criteria of guilt-tripping, and is not allowed here. It makes the winner feel guilty. Judges choose forms in unbiased ways, so this is very disrespectful. I'd ask if you could turn away from doing this next time or you could receive a strike.

Tracing is frowned upon- and banned here in the community. It's also against CS rules for this, and could get you in trouble with CS staff and could get you banned. Politely, all i'm asking is if you could remove the traced piece. You could always try using tutorials to help!

This is faced as guilt-tripping. Please remember that judges are unbiased when choosing winners, just because a user that has been ranked up is entering- doesn't mean they automatically win. Please try to stray away from these sort of thoughts next time.

Why should you be a mod?: I'd love to be a mod as I adore the plumerian community, and I don't have the artistic experience to become an artist. I think it would be a great opportunity to be more involved in the community and I would be extremely active if I were to be chosen - I'd help out with any future events, make sure spam was dealt with in a friendly way, and do my best to keep the community a happy place. If you ever need help with running anything or sorting out issues I'll be there to talk to and give advice, and I'd aim to make sure everyone in the community was able to confidently talk to me if any problems would occur. Also, I promise that I am completely trustworthy and would NEVER be biased towards individuals in any events. I'm a really bad liar anyway so even if I did want to lie (which I totally don't) I wouldn't get away with it, and hopefully nobody in the community would get away with breaking the rules either if I was a moderator. Of course, I doubt anything bad will ever happen to the community, and I would always run things by you first.

This picture is obviously traced, which is considered art theft. Art theft is an actual crime, and I advise you to take this picture down immediately. (I will have a saved screenshot as evidence) I'm going to have to consult Char about this, think carefully before you do something like this. If you need help with your art, post on the fanclub along with something else relevant asking about it, we have a helpful community who will most likely help you out.

Why should you be a mod?: I love to moderate threads. I am a current mod for Audilo Deer Adopts and Hell Raiser Adopts, and am trying out for several others. I never 'boss' other players around, instead strongly suggesting. There is a HUGE difference! I have never broken any CS rules. I am very fair to other players, and have read both the rules and species information thoroughly. I am on almost every day at least one hour, usually longer, enough to mod this thread properly.

Why should you be a mod?: I've always adored this species and wanted to be a part of the community. Sadly, my designing skills are not advanced enough to become a artist, and I haven't been lucky enough to win one. I co-own the Chowliraptors species, and I'm an artist at the Nasua Lacertilia and Lockettes. I'm on every day for at least 2-3 hours.

Being part of the staff has nothing to do with winning or losing, it matters how much effort you put into your form, if you want this plumie that bad, just put as much effort as you can into your form and I'm sure you'll have a shot

I'm a dedicated mod of many species, including a co-owner of Sima adopts and the owner of Milky Way kits. I've been modding for a while now and feel I have enough experience to handle being a moderator of this particular species. I'm generally very nice, but I know when I have to put my foot down and how to go about it. I'm generally online for about five hours a day - my weekdays are more open than my weekends though due to work.

On the weekends you're more likely to see me on at night, but I will check in every so often during my breaks. I know generally what is worthy of being warned for and what is not. I stalk the threads all the time so you an be sure I will not miss anything. I am also not known to be very "mean", so trust me when I say I will not be overbearing.

As for all the staff positions I've had, a brief description::

Sorry, customs are not open to the public unless through a special event. You an, however, maybe try suggesting some designs (providing they are not taken from another user a.k.a copyright) and maybe you'll win one of the designs you suggested? There are also the many designs that are made daily - you might not be able to have a custom but you can still get an amazing design by our wonderful artists

There is no reason to be rude to the winner of this plumie or accuse the artist of being bias. You will not always win everything, even when you put a lot in to your form. It happens to everything and there is no reason to behave in such a manner. Instead of focusing on the fact that you didn't win, why don't you congratulate the winner instead of say nothing at all? There will be many more plums to try out for - you'll win one if you keep your attitude positive and just continue trying. That being said, I do hope you know this behavior is not tolerated in this community. Please, try not to do this again or it will result in an official warning. Nobody wants that

Tracing pictures is a form of copyright and is not tolerated here or on CS in fact. It's not fair to the artist to do all that work and then have somebody quickly (Or it might take a bit of time) trace it and claim it as their own when it clearly is not. Bias is not tolerated in this community - trust me even a staff member is treated like a normal member in these circumstances. Everybody, as long as they fill out the form completely and follow all the rules, has an equal chance at winning this plumerian. Try not to focus on he other members entering - you'll just make yourself anxious and nervous - and instead focus on your own form and improve it to he best of your abilities.

Why should you be a mod?: Firstly, I should start off by saying that I love this species. That, of course, is a bit of an obvious statement. It's only been recently that I've starting to be more active in this community, and I'm so glad that I chose to do so. I know that being a moderator for these guys would help me to reach everyone in the community, in ways more than just doing some commissions. I would be able to have a more hands on experience with users and adopters, by helping them out, answering questions, and letting them know whether what they post is in the right area, or if its right or wrong to say something on the main thread, archives, fanclub, and roleplays. I have been an official moderator for Maroon Adopts though the species wasn't very active. I have been artist at several other places, most notably Umbrulf Adopts, where I both function as an artist and moderator. I also own my own species, where I too would function as a mod, but that went downhill quickly. I try to keep my moderating style supportive and helpful, while also being courteous and polite to the user who broke the rules, and to other users who may be annoyed by this. I want to seem like a person that the user can trust to answer questions correctly and truthfully. Some issues can be addressed directly on the thread, while others (which may embarrass the user) should be taken to PM. For those I would take to PM, I would be sure to notify you to let you know what has happened, and what I said. I think that I would do well as a moderator here, since I know the species well, and I believe myself to be a more professional person who won't let my temper or feelings get in the way of my job.
Edit: I am online pretty much everyday, though I will be starting a job at the end of this month. I don't think that it would interfere with this job though ^u^

I'm not sure if Charhcar2 will open them again in the future, but there's always the chance to apply for the guest artist position when they open. There is no set time period/date for them to open, so you'll have to keep your eye out (though Charchar2 will most likely make a post here saying applications are open).

Comments like this shouldn't be posted on the thread, its considered rude towards the winner and it may make them feel bad about winning this Plumerian. I know that you feel like you deserved he/she more than (other user), but don't fret because there will be plenty more to try for!

Hello (username here). I noticed that this drawing you made (x) was traced off of this lineart (x). While there isn't an official rule on this, its like stealing a Plumerian that doesn't belong to you, only its lineart. I'm not in the position to give you any sort of punishment or ban, this will be dealt with by Charchar2.
This may seem like a bit of a shock to you, so I apologize for that, but art theft isn't really tolerated on this site nor on the adoptables. I hope things work out well for you, please try not to trace lines anymore. I would much rather see a piece of work by you that had a lot of effort and love put into it .

If the infraction were more serious, I would report them to an oekaki moderator and basically tell them the same thing; except with the added information that I had reported them and that the moderator would most likely dole out some sort of punishment too (which I have no control over).

If the statement were general like this, I would post a warning on the thread. If it singled out a specific staff member, I would take it to PM.

As a staff member, I can say that no competition that these artists hold are biased. Not only would it be rude to do so, but it would be essentially like picking favorites or giving them a semi-custom. Just because (staff member) has entered doesn't mean they're necessarily going to follow through, or automatically win. You just need to give your form all your heart, and make it creative, which is what the judges are truly looking for.
However, this comment is rude (maybe to specific staff member) and I ask that you don't post anything like this again. I, and Charchar2, can assure that there is and there will never be any staff favoritism. Please keep negative comments like this off the thread and to yourself. Next time this happens, I'll have to give you a strike/warning (whichever would fit in the situation).
Keep on trying to get that Plumerian! Don't give up hope because a staff member entered, just try your best
