I was gonna do something a bit more fun and have some background lore introduced with Adelaron staff, aka my stables and the home of Range Trotters origins, but I just don't have the time anymore. Oh well, we can still have fun!

Each of these dilutions is a non-genetic marker, meaning it will or will not pass at a fixed rate. They are Uncommon rarities, and will only be able to be seen throughout the month of June on any type of adopt (standard, auctions, events), during any Explore opening, and can be bred for with or without items.
If an artist is accepting breedings, you may request these dilutes on a custom order but only during the month of June!

May 31st? Can't order these dilutions; July 1st? Nope, can't order them.
June 1st through June 30th? You betcha!

All trotters seen showcasing the dilutions here will be solid coats with just the dilution, and will all be treated as raffles.
You may only win one of these under this cover, but once the dilute is posted the rest of the team is free to create their own adopts with them for the month! :D

second part (kinda) to this post!. brainstorming what the ferraen's face paint might look like.

because of the basis of their spirituality being duality/believing that there are two souls in every body, one "animalistic" and the other "civilized" (for lack of better terms), the facepaint they'd wear would be asymmetrical, with different patterns and motifs for each side of the face. borrowing a face from a ferraen from myth and legend (top row), or from one of the gods (bottom row), is the most common (usually chosen for characteristics you want to embody on your journey), but one can also just make up their own face. borrowing a face from someone still living is taboo, or at the very least incredibly impolite (imagine getting into trouble while looking like someone else, and having them take all the blame for it !)

since clays (particularly iron-based) are incredibly common on enurian, facepaintings would most commonly be ochre red to off-white. however, theoretically any color is possible (though for some of the harder to acquire ones, carrying the paint on you and ensuring you have enough for a journey would be necessary). a light and a dark color are most traditional, but i imagine some might get real silly with it.

there will likely be regional specific ones later as well 👍 (only being allowed to borrow faces from creatures you've killed? letting loved ones make a new face for you?? many to think about)

also adding; whiskers and ears wouldn't be painted on, since they're constantly moving and paint there would flake off easier. and paint there would probably be uncomfortable.
