My WMT Entry

Personality: Kind-hearted, semi-easily frightened by short, loud noises but regains himself quickly, tends to be a bit guarded at times, can tolerate to be both alone or in a pack/group, can be shy, and will be extremely agressive if provoked.
Art of it: X
Story: Only one of Zale's parents were around during his pup-hood. Zale was raised by his father, and expert hunter and survior of both city and wilderness. Zale is the middle child of a small family who felt protective toward him. They always lived close to the oceans, lakes, and rivers, thus, his love for water was formed. Zale was greatly admired as being the stronger pup. He got much unwanted attention from this, and his siblings became jealous and upset with the amount of attention he recived. He was set to lead the family once his father had passed, since his father had become very ill, but the siblings rebelled against this idea, and did anything possible to overrun this thought. A few months later his father had passed, and he was to enter leadership within the next week. The siblings devised a plan to run him out of thier homeland before he became leader, so that they might have a chance to fill his spot. Zale noticed quickly the change in their attitudes, and observed them carefully, knowing exactly why. He made the hard desicion of leaving before they attacked. He set off in the cool midnight breeze toward the oceans where he knew his siblings wouldn't dare to follow, if they had the nerve too. He quickly made his way to the thick forest that lined the sandy white beaches. He spent many years living here. Feathers and green satin, metal loops and gems, and many other things washed ashore, that now adorn his scaly armor. He soon became lonely, spending many days alone in a vast land of beautiful scenery. Zale ventured the land hoping to join an already existing pack.

History: Katia was dragged away from her fallen mate into the forest by the pack leader.
"I don't want to leave Skia! He is my mate!"
"You have to. We must move on." The leader replied gruffly.
Katia followed reluctantly, head bowed. He wasn't dead, why leave him? She sighed and moved on into the dark forest.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." Katia whispered, now deep inside the forest. "I can smell smoke."
"Don't be stupid. You only want to go back to get Skia."
"No really, I can smell smoke."
The leader just ignored her, but the rest of the pack could smell it too. Burning flames rose up in front of them. The pack scattered, running off in all directions. Katia was choking on the smoke, feeling dizzy. The world seemed to go black and she collapsed on to the hot ground.

After a while, Katia started coughing. Some Xdois licked her muzzle, and she opened her eyes slowly.
"Skia?" she whispered, feeling slightly happier at the sight of her mate.
"Yes. I'm here, Kataigída. You're safe."
"The pack, they're gone?"
Skia nodded sadly. "I could only save you. Your fur is a bit burnt, but you should be okay."
Katia smiled weakly, and stood up, resting her muzzle on Skia's shoulder affectionately.
What you will do with it: Get art of her, do art of her (and Skia of course) etc.
Other: I'm trying for Skia too, so this should sound roughly the same kind of story. I got Skia, just so you know

Name of Xdois: Chucaracha(Pronounced Coo-ca-ra-cha)
Gender: Female
History: Chucaracha was a lowly respected Xdois in her small pack. Eventually she was kicked out, no longer needed. She roamed far and whide, ending up here. She smelled her species everywhere! Running around, she caught sight of a dark and light blue Xdois dissapearing into some bushes. Hesitant, I snuck after him. Emerging into a small clearing, she saw Xdois all shapes and sizes, all different colors, all different genders! Chucaracha now lives in harmony with this humongous pack.
What you will do with it: I might use the design or stick it in my siggy {If I have enough room >.<}

Story:Ailin lived alone; alone on the rocky slopes, dangerous yes but Ailin prefered a life of solitude. Dusk was aopproacing as well as a harsh winter storm, he would be to vunersble to the arsh conditions on the slippery slopes; he proceeded to go in land were he would find refuge. Hopefully. Rain drops already began to splatter against his heaving sides. The land was now painted an eerie grey as the storm clouds advanced bringing with them booming thunder and shattering lightning. Hi limbs ached and protested against Ailins vigarous pace. The storm was now over head; he woul have no time to make it his usual cave shelter, instead he veered off the track remembering seeing a musky cave on one of his expeditions... Thunder began to shake the earth, lightning split the sky; opening the way for gushing rain. His hooves slipoed and stumbles as his slender legs threatened to give way; but he made it...Ailin callopsed at the cave mouth, breathing in and out sharply. Everything waw dark, he could not smell or hear anwything other than rain. Ailin was weary of this place but it was better than facing the vicious storm un protected. He jumped up quickly shaking the droplets from his silky coat; he was handsome indeed. Ailins nerves escalated; he didnt know why but his hair was standing on end...suddenly something rammed into his side leaving him un steady; the creature grabbed onto hime; dagger like claws peircing his skin. Ailin kicked out striking the beast; once again it leapt at Ailin digging it claws into his face; strilking his eye. Ailin could not see momentarily: a moment was a the creature needed to deliver another vicious blow! Ailin striked the beast again, though hevcould not dee clearly he knew he hurt the shadow creature for it wailed. Again and again Ailin struck the beast unti he heard it whimper and disapear into the shadows, dragging its limp leg with it. That night he could not sleep; in fear of the creature returning and for he was pain ridden.

Light crept into the cave, Ailin must of fallen asleep for the warm sun caused his eyes to flutter open. It took a few attempts but he stood shakily; and walked out to find water. He followed the seductive sound of running water; he gound a river. He looked deep into the water, his solem reflection starred back; he was a monster ridden with battle scares. Immedianting Aillen ran; ran through the pain to rerurn to he solitary slopes were he no one would have to look at him...No matter he was still a beaitiful soul.

Story:
Life is truly not fair to those that live it.

Maumivu wasn't the lead horse on the small team. He wasn't one of the last two, either, that were spared the whip because of the distance between the sled itself and themselves. No, he was in the perfect position for the end of that long, leather piece of punishment to smack and slash at his flanks and hindquarters.

The indigenous humans were an alright folk, once they didn't need transport between villages, which were often spread in different valleys and bordered by tall mountains. But when they did, ropes and leather harnesses were tied and criss-crossed over Maumivu and his kin's bodies, and they were strapped to a wood-and-fur contraption that worked like a dogsled.

His last trip, unfortunately, was the worst, and let to his being 'retired' from the team. It was one of the longer trips, comparable to the famous one on Alaska led by Balto. It had stormed recently, and all of the usual landmarks had been wiped out, replaced by snow and ice. The lead Equid had taken a wrong turn, and the lashes meant for him had instead ended up gouging deeply into Maumivu's hide. They continued racing through the blinding terrain, though, Maumivu's black hide the only thing keeping him from freezing to death whenever they halted to melt snow for water.

Then the first of the team dropped dead, frozen, overworked and dehydrated.

Then another. And another.

The last two members of the team, Maumivu himself and one of the two that were in the back, found themselves without a leader... and then without a human to guide them. He kept his teammate warm at night, his thick black fur still brimming from the sun's glaring heat, and by day they wandered through the snow and ice until they found themselves staring at the fires of their old village.

Again, and again, He felt the render flesh of his flank, getting ripped to shreds by the long claws, attached to the two mountain lion's. Hissing, as he would launch him self forward in a worthless act to fight and defend himself. Rage, tossed his head, and reared only to be struck again, but the large cat, this time across the eye. There were two of them, and only one of him. Being only a young, yearling at the time, he didn't know how to fight back properly. Rocks slid out from his back feet, tumbling down below on the mountain side. The stead decline right behind him as he was being herded towards the edge looked endless.

Like kittens with yarn, they grabbed his tail raking there claws down in odd, accidental patterns. The sting, of the cold wind against the bleeding cuts made them hurt more. Muscles becoming stiff he felt as though his mountains were betraying him. He had always lived here. Never in fear only in peace until now.His feet shifting trying to keep above the rocks, so he wouldn't slid to his death. Rage felt a sudden urge to just give up. Anger flashed through him, a little breaking moment int he Lions assault. he surged forward, knocking one aside, but having his feet knocked our from under him by the other. sharp rocks, ran across his back thigh, but he continued the struggle, now just wanting to get away. managing to get to his feet, he bolted up the rock side, not stopping until he couldn't run any longer. finding a small, alcove he slid inside the cramped space. checking the bloody woulds that were to become, scars. the lions didn't seemed to have followed him.. though he was't sure why they hadn't pre-sued what would have been a easy meal for them now.Sleep, was hard to find, for sharp jagged rocks, pushed into his sides but it eventually over took him.
