Ikea likes to keep a lava lamp nearest wherever he happens to be sleeping at. He finds them soothing and comforting, and they actually seem very stress-relieving to him, so he always keeps one on through the entire night so he can sleep well.
What is his favorite color lava lamp?
Despite the way he looks, Ikea really likes orange lava lamps. It's just something about the warm, bright color that he really likes. He can't quite put his paw on what exactly it is...
What does he like to do for fun?
Ikea just likes to take strolls when he's bored. Whether it be through a park, by a beach, or to a store or something, Ikea just likes to walk around when there's nothing else to do.

A Koidyr is an Akita dog with webbed legs for swimming and gliding through the water. They are most times timid at the first meeting, but will warm up to anyone quickly. They have a patch of venom on their face to protect them from predators. This patch is always a neutral color, such as black, white, or gray. They are omnivores, and eat anything from wild berries to small rodents. Can you win a Koidyr's heart?

What is a Jellybean Dragon?

A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Haha, there's no specifics for this contest, just impress me!
HOWEVER

There is a few limits I'd like to discuss! (Very simply though)

If you do art, you may only have a maximum of 5 pieces.
If you are doing writing, just try to avoid making it too long. A simple paragraph or two for each writing section should be plenty, unless if it's a story. I get distracted easily and don't like reading too much. ^^;

To be honest, I'd just love to see how well you can develop the character/personality.
I like things short sweet and to the point. lD

My only other rules are no whining, no spamming, and no complaining.

Stryker is rather the serious type and thinks that his authority should always be respected even the situation really doesn't call for it but he has a hard time lowering his guard he puts up while on the job. The Akulas are a fast evolving feline like creature, found in the North Pole and several nearby countries. They are a very proud and territorial animal and are well known for their superior hunting abilities and different body and tail types. They are extremely protective of their young and will kill if they feel threatened.

When born Akula kits are on average 2 feet long and 75 lbs, bundles of fur and excitement Akula kits are very active and full of life, no matter how exited they get however they never stray too far from their parents, Akula have a very tight family unit that lasts their entire lives. Akula kits feed from their mothers milk until they reach 6 weeks, at which point they begin to incorporate foods such as fish and hares into their diet as well. Akula kits begin hunting for there own food at 2 months of age, and by 6 months are fully self sufficient but remain close to their parents.

Dagger is a boy, suiting none the less.
Personality wise, hes not the nicest of musos.
He is deceptive, foggy minded and quite rude to be honest.
He doesnt make a good friend, and he lies about almost anything. He enjoys hunting for helpless prey,
and exploring fruitful villages finding ways to ransack them.
He's never had a human, despite the fact that Musokas exist solely for their human counterparts.
He has never seen the point of it. He avoids contact with most other musokas unless he is challenged to a fight, as he prefers to sit, relax, and feast on liver.
As im sure you could have gathered he is rather...
Cold hearted.

Quiet days are more of his thing, but Dagger had heard of treasure.
Of course, he detested how much it made him seem almost like a pirate that he was always out treasure hunting, but how else was he supposed to bribe villagers into handing over their children..?
Of course, he himself had no need for gold, and ruby's, but the humans sure did, and that was reason enough.

So one cold, sort of blustery afternoon, he went for a dive. He was searching for the treasure from the wreckage of a recent boat that crashed, called the Mordra, which had been a top class cruise ship for an all boys boarding school.
He swam, flicking his tail through the water and allowing his dorsal fin to kiss the waves above as the wind picked up.
The water was a deep grey, and the currents were strong by the time he saw the first glint of a diamond.

He dove, a devious smile stretching his face as he approached, more glints and glimmers coming into his field of vision.
He was tucking gold and diamonds into a small burlap pouch he kept strapped to his side when he felt a pinch and a bit of a tug on his fin. Turning, he saw a large shadow up above, washing in the waves and pulling him along die to the rope that now seemed to be attached to him.
Fishers. They must have been looking for the wreckage too and wanted to get whatever was down here out of the way.

Dagger pulled at the string, trying as hard as he could to swim back the way he came, but he was reeled closer to the boat with each hopeless paddle of his paws.
A net was thrown down into the water, tangling him helplessly. He gurgled as he sucked in water in a panic, thinking "I'm being attacked... Worthless...HUMANS!!!!".

He jumped from the water, clawing at the side of the boat angrily, the hook slightly tearing at him as the net attempted to weigh him down. The humans, afraid of what they had dragged up from the deep, decided to cut the net. Screaming frantically as the waves smashed against the boat threatening to push Dagger up onto the deck.
As quickly as it had began, the net was cut along with the fishing line and the boat had no choice but to let the waves push it as far away from the creature that left claw and bite marks in the side of their boat. The creature they will write story's about in old fairy tale books. A creature that they had mistaken for a simple large fish, in the way of their treasure.

Dagger, now tired, lazily swam under water back to the shallows, and then just let the waves push him the rest of the way to shore. He had done it. A few scars meant nothing to him, and the hook was now just a memento of his adventure. All that mattered to him was that he had treasure now, and could get food... Bribe the humans with their fears, promise to kill them if they don't sacrifice their children to him as food...
It was just another successful mission, in the day and life of the deceitful, deceiving, dangerous Dagger.

Personality: Tidepool, or Tide as he is commonly known, is a calm and collected Musoka. He doesn't tolerate any nonsense, and will not hesitate for his opinions to be heard.
Why there is a hook in the fin: Tide was swimming one day, when a fisherman threw a hook, trying to catch a fish for the night's meal. When he reeled the struggling Musoka in, he couldn't see anything, until Tide was pinning him down. The fisherman got away, and Tide got the pole out. But he never got the hook out because it was too deeply embedded.

These extraordinary felines date back to the long-ago days of alchemy, mainly during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries A.D. One day, while mixing a bit of this and a dash of that in an attempt to find the Philosopher's Stone, a chemist known only by a pseudonym, 'Moony', accidentally left it unsupervised and her faithful cat, Cosmo, drank a bit of the concoction. Moony noted his pupils looked odd, like "crescent moons" and he grew a star-shaped patch of fur on his forehead soon afterwards. But his most remarkable change was that from then on he was able to float several feet off the ground of his own accord! In her journal, the alchemist writes, "On occasion the silly creature would get stuck in the chimney and emerge head to tail in soot." The recipe has been kept documented, but recent scientific discovery, however, has proved that the potion does nothing more than drinking water. This leaves us, then, with the question, could Cosmo and the steadily rising number of 'Cosmo Cats' named after him really be from the Cosmos themselves? They certainly seem to have an unearthly air about them. It is said that if one winks at you with its left eye your day will be blessed with good luck, and the opposite if with its right. So, who knows? Perhaps the answer to whether or not these cats are from another world may never be discovered. Only time will tell.

Lion-Tail Wolves are a recently discovered canine species, their name deriving from the tuft of long fur on the tip of their thin tails. Lion Tails are the size of a small pony, sporting long fur, legs and ears. They appear to be a very advanced species, with the ability to communicate with many other species, animal and human alike. This beautiful wolf/lion is a female.
Personality:
River is a very calm, sophisticated she- wolf. She is like the flow of a river, calm and gentle, beautiful and fresh. She is always nice, and doesnt retaliate to cruelty and bullying (that is directed at her) and stays calm that way. She can get a bit annoyed sometimes, but only when others are being bullied, or abused in any way. She is young and beautiful, but is always modest and never tries to show off her looks. Her movements are elegant and she has very strong legs, which makes her a good swimmer. She also is loyal to all her friends, and has never argued, hurt or been mean to anyone, let alone her friends. Even though she is calm and composed, she has a fresh, fun side to her that can be exposed when playing with friends.

Another acorn equid from my theme batch! Because these are themed equids, they will not be able to breed with others of their theme - so no acorn equid x acorn equid breedings,

This lad is loosely based off of the acorns created by the Overcup Oak.

A Rioji is a weasel-like creature with long, bendy ears and a huge lengthy tail. Rioji's use these strong, flexible tails to grab faraway objects, climb, and to defend themselves, and most improtantly for warmth. Occasionally, they have fun and jump around, using their tails as springs. Humans particularly like these tails because they give great hugs! Riojis are very friendly, non aggressive creatures. They can be found nearly anywhere, and their tails make them easy to find. A Rioji's diet consists of mostly plants, but they also enjoy meat as snacks. Do you have the patience to call one of these your own?

Meet Starburst! She's my first Khuma and a grumpy one at that! Below is some more information about her, I'm sharing it whether she likes it or not.

When I first adopted Starburst I had to come up with a name and quick as Khumas go fast. As soon as I saw her I knew she was the one I wanted. The problem was I usually do lots of research into my names, yet then it came to me. I would name her Starburst, partly because of her firework like markings, but otherwise I had been eating sour Starbursts that day and they inspired me to name her after them. Now I fel the name fits her perfectly looking back on it and I'm happy with what I've gone with.

Starburst is a fan of climbing trees and sitting at a high perch, so the Tall forest nest was probably the best for her. I think being a nest boss would suit her the most because something tragic happened early in her life which has driven her into a shell of silent depression and a sharp tongue. I don't think she would be much use in caring for others which means Starburst has ended up being very lazy.

As stated above, Starburst has grown to be a very grumpy and unsocial Khuma. It's notable that her tongue is worse than her bite. Other Khumas don't really like to talk to her for this reason which means she's sadly become very antisocial. Her voice is rarely heard and when it is, hardly any Khuma can recognize it. Khumas only hear her when she's grumbling over something she doesn't like. Yet, if Starburst was to speak in a regular kind tone it would shock many at how soft and quite her actual voice is.

Starburst once had a mate and she was very different back then. She dressed differently and acted like a much nicer and more active Khuma. It wouldn't last. They were a great pair, until he was taken away by human hands. She watched it happen with her own eyes and hasn't been able to trust humans since, yet somehow she opened up to me and I gained her trust. She's still the grumpy, quiet, over-protective Khuma I described above, but at least she knows she can trust me. I will never keep her as a pet, Khumas are wild animals, but I'm here for her if she needs our help. I don't see her much as she lives within her nest, but atleast I know she's living a good life.

Yay for rambling me late at night!

Starburst likes few things, but I can mention one or two bits she might like. Climbing is a big one which pairs with trees as she enjoys being up among the branches and being able to look down on the others. She also likes basking in the sun as it can be done alone and she gets some nice time to herself. On the other hand, Starburst hates noise and most other life forms, apart from prey.

Starburst currently does not have a crush and her family is not present in this area. Her only friend is the forest and her enemy is the world around her. Simple enough, right?
