Jungle Cervus Adoptions
About the SpeciesJungle Cervi are an alien, equine-type species that live on a human colony called "Sigma IV". These creatures are found both in the jungles and on the plains, but only the Jungles Cervi have been domesticated by the natives that live on the planet. Both make and female Cervi have antlers, but the domesticated breed have much smaller antlers compared to their wild cousins.
Cervi are used for many purposes, from food to transportation. Their most famous role in Sigma IV's native culture, however, is that of a warhorse. The domesticated Jungle Cervi are very agile and are able to manoeuvre easily through thick jungle and hilly terrain. They are also used for racing, as they are quite fast when on flat ground.
Rule for Adopting1.This species is mine, and I can remove the adoptions if people are abusing their ability to adopt these animals. Do not take credit for the species if you do adopt one.
2.
I will not make customs. These need to stay within the breed's allowed colours and markings, and custom designs will probably not fit that.
3. You can have a limit of two of these animals.
4. Breeding is rare, so please don't ask about it.
5. If you do not want your Cervus anymore,
do not donate it to an adoption agency. Tell me that you do not want it anymore, and I will either put it up for adoption again, or remove it from the "CS stock".
6. Do not complain if you don't get a Cervus from the stock that I will put up. I don't want any whining because you missed out on one of the animals.
7. Those up for adoption will have "Adopt Me" written on them. Do not ask how to adopt them.
BreedingsStallions and mares can be bred, but they can only breed once. Geldings--and there will be some--cannot breed at all. Cervi will only have one foal from a breeding, and that foal may either be put up for adoption, or given to the owner of the dam. If the dam's owner does not want it, it will go to the sire's owner, and if they don't want it, I will put it up for adoption here.
I will put up a list of people who want their Cervi bred here and--if I feel the need to--the breed registry that I'm hoping to set up here.
