A horse up my yard once his best buddy was blind, she got herself into a bad situation, she bolted and ran into barb wire :\ the people didn't know because the field was hidden in a tree line, Charley, he was attached to this mare, he screamed until somebody came, he met them at the gate and ran to the mare, with the people behind, and as they called the vet to come and get her put to sleep - the barb wire was all up her chest and legs, Charley stood there with her, and when the vet went to put her to sleep, he touched her on the nose and walked away to say goodbye, he's never been the same again after that.

Extra: The trailer had stopped rocking. There were noises and two large slams, suddenly the back of the trailer opened and I saw the meadow, it was beautiful, bright, filed with sunshine in all but one place. There was a small clump of trees casting shade in the right hand side of this beautiful meadow, and under the tree, two stones, engraved with some kind of words. As soon as the kind human that broight me here unclipped my halter I raced to the most dusty spot there was and tood a good long dirt bath. As I strggled up and shoot of the remaining bit of dirt I went to investigate my new home. All was calm, except for the trees and two rocks. Something drew me closer and when I finally got a good look at the place I felt like I had seen it some where before. After grazing for a bit a large clang as the gate opened up interupted my thoughts, and in walked a small little brown and white filly. She hastliy made her way over to me and as I looked into her eyes I felt as if I knew her from some where. This is how I met my very best friend.

Short Story:

Long story short Princess stopped a thief in his tracks, but the long story starts when she was just a foal. She's been the sweetest mare since the day she was born. She always made sure her mother was eating as she grew up. Now she won't eat until all the other horses have eaten.
The day she stopped the thief was the day she became recognized as the sweetest horse in the land. A boy rode her into town and tried to steal from the bank. When he came out with the bags of money, she recognized what he had done and tried to make peace. She refused to ride away, but stayed right by the bank. She protected the boy from the police's firearms, all the while keeping the boy between her and the doors.
The boy eventually returned the money to the bankers, but of course he was still arrested and charged for robbery. Princess was given her name for the way she protected the people of her town. We all know she would protect them like a queen if she could, but she is only a horse.

(Sorry it's not well written or Halloween themed, I haven't written anything in a long time and can't plan out what I write.)

Short Story: Ruby was on the warpath again! When the herd saw her snorting and stamping her hooves, they scattered to the four corners because you did NOT want to be on the wrong side of that! Unfortunately some of the younger males had decided to prank her for Halloween and she was not well pleased with the results. It might take a bit of time, but she would find them, and she would kick some sense into their thick skulls if she had to, just to teach them a lesson about dumb jokes that could cause in injury.

It had all started when she woke up and found herself in complete darkness. She could sense it was daylight, her internal clock said so, and she could hear birds singing somewhere nearby, so why was it so dark still? She shook her head to try and figure out why she couldn't see and found something covering her head, no, not her head, just her eyes? Ruby started to panic! Why couldn't she get it off? She pawed at whatever was on her face until she got a hoof into it. She yanked while it was trapped between her hoof and the ground and heard a tearing noise.

The sack that had somehow been put over her face finally ripped off and as she looked around, blinking quickly to adjust her eyes, she heard faint noises behind the trees on the other side of the fence. But when she turned to look, there was nothing there. She had a fairly good idea who it was (most likely the same idiot youngsters who thought branches on the trail was fun watching the other horses stumbling over them).

Ruby was furious! When she caught up with them, there was going to be a reckoning!

Holy crap this mare is stunning! I've been trying to catch one of these beauties for a while, I really really hope this girl wasn't FCFS?

Are they lucky or unlucky; Sagiv is known as being a considerably unlucky snake, labeled so by the majority of others of his own kind and even others not of his own kind due to his appearance and the superstition he's connected to. He's covered in short, black fur, extremely unusual for a python, has a pair of very visible ears resembling a feline's not native to his kind, and yellow "cat eyes" - some mock him and don't let him forget how different he is, and how he was born ill-fated and destined to be unfortunate in life. Some prefer to stay away from him as to stay away from the said bad luck he'd bring them, and some find him to be very enjoyable to be around and nothing like his physical appearance directs him to be, deeming it unbelievable he could be looked at so cold because of his form. He draws a particularly larger span of attention during the Halloween season, as to be expected, and can rightfully be known as unlucky as he's generally avoided and mocked, and thought to be a living form of misfortune.
However, Sagiv acts as if he hardly notices these rumors and negative comments about him, living in a generally happy and serene state, with a strong affection for the Halloween season and feeling very connected to it's spirit. He's not usually unnerving once one can get past his odd felidae-esque habits, he's simply a kind of different that no one wishes to acknowledge. Despite his unluckiness with ever fitting in with the general crowd, he's very content with being on his own, as solitary as if he were a true cat.

She loves to look at herself in the reflection of the water in the trough, and can often times be seen in the barn's tack room (how she gets there, nobody knows) sorting through ribbons to put into her long beautiful mane. Despite all of this, however, she is very reliable and a good friend if you can gain her trust. She is that kind of mare who prefers close friends over the many, and even though she is popular, she talks to everybody. Fancy has also gained the barns respect for her actions in shows as well as her actions with other horses, lesson kids, and everybody she meets. Well, I decided to be different. Instead of doing like a lot of people will do, a backstory, I will try something a little bit different.

It is a warm 7 AM at Canter Down Stables and nothing is stirring except for the waking horses of the barn. The first to rise is the beautiful Fancy, as she always is the first to try and see the sun peer out from the trees that surround the barn. She stretches her relatively short legs and stands up to stick her head out of her stall to greet the stable boy who comes to feed the horses in the morning. He gives her a pat and then tosses in a block of the hay bale for breakfast, which she eats slowly as she does not want to get it in her hair. She never did like to be dirty, which was a relief for her owners, because of her light coloration.

After breakfast, most of the human children who own and take care of the tolters in the barn come out to get their horses for grooming, riding, shows, or whatever else they have planned for the day. Fancy was always so happy to catch the first glance of her companion, a smaller girl with thick brown hair (usually pinned back into a ponytail) and light blue eyes, no more than 15 years old, to come and grab her out of her stall for her morning grooming. She never did take that long, as she once again hated to be dirty. She loved the curry comb being rubbed along her flanks as they felt like a great massage to get her warmed up and ready for the ride. Her owner walked into the tack room and grabbed out a mahogany jumper saddle with a matching bridle and her light pink saddle pad which matched her halter. As soon as she was all tacked, she was lead to the mounting block outside of the stable.

Today was the trail day, the once a week gathering of the pony club to go out on a jumper trail together. This was perhaps Fancy's favorite day, as she could show off to the cute stallion owned by a friend of her owner. They got off to the woods at a walk and then entered a trot to get the horses warmed up. Then, as if on cue, the horses entered a canter and then went over the first fences. The trail split into two up ahead, and this was where the advanced jumpers would go to harder jumps, and the novice jumpers would go to do easier ones.

Fancy's owner had finally advanced, and today would be the first time on the advanced trail! They turned to the left and followed the stallion that Fancy liked and flied over the new jumps. It felt like freedom once again! No more restrictions for what could stop them now! The trail came to an end, and they all trotted and walked back to the barn. Since she was sweaty, Fancy received a bath and was then turned to pasture until her owner had to leave. She brought Fancy back in from the pasture and set her in her stall with some treats before driving off to see her the next day... (527 words xD)
