For a living, Bacardi runs a small store that rests in a cluster of other stores on a cliff. The cliff itself has a paved surface and overall has a nice scenery despite the strong scent of salt being a constant trait of it. Bacardi's store is the third one from the right, and has a window in the back that overlooks the cliff. The walls are made of bricks but are overlaid with pale wooden planks that give it a more seaside familiarity to it, with a few windchimes made of shells hanging from above.

Inside, the store has a line of shelves displaying all sorts of shells and souvenirs made from them, such as small miniatures and windchimes. There is a small counter to the left of the store, and that's where Bacardi is usually found in a sundress. Two menus, one to the left and one to the right sides of the counter, display what's on sale. She makes tea and coffee often, and would have also sold cake if her husband was fond of it, which he sadly isn't. Instead she sells small chocolates she makes on her own, along with little pouches of herbals with calming scents such as lavender and thyme, meaning her shop is quite a mix of desserts and tidbits.

Simply loving flower crowns and flowers themselves, Bacardi also occasionally offers those crowns as a free bonus when someone purchases her items. She grows all these flowers from her own little garden at home along with the rest of her herbs. Not only that, but she is also quite familiar with paper planes and paper cranes, and as a result they are found on her desk at work and on her bedside table at home. They are usually in shades of peach, pink and purple, and when her children were still young she would show them how to make them, and for the paper planes, how to fly them too. It was a calming pastime then, and it still is now, explaining some colored papers hidden in the back of her counter.

Bacardi adores poetry. Ever since she learned what poetry was, which was when she was quite young, she learned to love it. Her reason for loving it so much was because it was so fun, making all those verses and rhymes. At that age she wrote down a list of words that rhymed, almost filling her journal pages with her scribbly handwriting, which has improved to an elegant cursive ever since. One of her favorite rhymes is simple: "Paper planes and flower crowns, childish games and small towns. From the hatch of an egg to the swish of a tail, to the sound of her heart and her will not to fail."

Another quirk she has connects to her love for classical music: she absolutely loves listening to the piano. She's even tried to learn how to play it once, although she eventually gave up on it because it took too much of her time and money since she took courses as her attempt. However this failure never affected her badly, and even now she loves listening to the piano. This is one of her favorite songs, since it both has a title that relates to her and it is, overall, a very pleasant song to listen to. It's also one of the songs she wanted to be able to play, and ironically it's the only one she actually can play before she stopped learning to play the piano.

As her husband, Orange Cream is pretty much everything to Bacardi. He means the world to her, she's only ever let her anger get the better of her once, and that'ss long forgotten, buried underneath the blossoms of their love and forgiveness. Now as mates they are close to each other; work keeps them apart but they always return home to see the other patiently waiting, eager to close the gap between them in embrace.



Sen is a close friend of Bacardi's, since he often visits her shop, mostly to see what new items she has in stock. He usually looks for the shell-based items she has, and already has an amount of items from her including a shell figurine and a snowglobe or two, and even a necklace, although Bacardi has never seen him wear it... maybe it's behind the bandanna he wears all the time? Well, who knows?





Ever since Kutka came to Ardi's small store to see what she sold and the lot, and she became a regular customer ever since. She usually has a cup of tea and sometimes a bit of chocolate early in the morning, and although they rarely meet outside of work, Bacardi has grown comfortable with using the term 'friend' when referring to her. Not to mention that Kutka's a good person for her to talk to.

Bacardi's relationship with Yumemi isn't as close as most of Ardi's other relationships; although the fashionable bean does swing by for her items and some tea or chocolate. Yumemi does prove to be rather nice, and Bacardi admires her for her confidence and attitude as an impressive model, and it is a bit hard for Ardi to ignore the fact that someone like her wouldn't mind staying for a few pretty beach shells and tea.

Rosalina and Bacardi are sisters, almost. Having known each other for many years gave them the chance to get to know each other, and growing up together meant they shared a lot of interesting memories. Now they don't meet up as frequently as they used to, but when they do the first thing they catch up each other. Bacardi and Rosalina sometimes surprise each other with friendly gifts of flowers from Rosa, shells from Ardi.

Three phrases to describe the relationship between Merque and Bacardi? Desserts, sisterly advice and comforting words. It began quite simply when they met one day, but it has bloomed plenty since then. Bacardi and Merque occasionally pour out their feelings to each other, about family, friends and so on. Between Que's feelings which seem like an ocean and Ardi's demeanor hiding her own problems, they somehow manage to comfort each other after every pep talk.

Sometimes the best personalities are shaped by the worst of tragedies.

This is one of those cases. As a youngster, Bacardi was orphaned along with her two sisters. They lived in a foster home in Paris, France. To their veiled eyes it was nigh impossible to see all the beauty around them, they were oblivious young minds who did not understand how to get a grip of where they lived. Growing up, Bacardi remembers only a few details on her past, but what remains at the back of her mind, she can describe like it was yesterday.

Waking up again in foster care. Bacardi's claws scratched the surface of the already ripped-up and dusty cherry red carpet at her feet. Sometimes she imagined walking on soft velvet that polished her claws, but sadly her home just didn't allow it. Stretching slightly and feeling a pain in her knees, she yawned and glanced at the form of her sister, Sundae, who was still asleep. Studying her form and the gentle rise and fall of her chest, Ardi thought about last night's shenanigans.

Long story short, things hadn't gone very well between them. Before they had went to bed, well... they had a sort of 'falling out,' due to Ardi having been a tad too stubborn. Either way the confrontation ended in tears which still streaked underneath the young bean's eyes. She always wished she could be like her sister, and as she looked in the mirror while stepping up a few small baby stairs, in order to be tall enough to turn the faucet and wash her face that morning.

Fast forward a few years. Paris, France. Standing in a leather jacket, a wool scarf, black boots and a long flowing gray skirt. Ardi had aged, and so had her sisters. They'd grown and changed plenty during those years. Education, friends and even a full-time job as a journalist and a hobbyist in shell collecting. Bacardi's hobby had somehow paid off greatly, and her talent had made her open a little shop and even sell her products online. She was at a street intersection, eyes scanning the scenery. Cars whirring by... and a thought came into her head. Her sisters.

They had parted ways, but that also meant they were keeping less contact with each other. Sundae especially. One night's worth of a phone call had somehow separated them, something about a broken heart and trying to put together missing pieces. Bacardi had wanted to help, but her resentment for her sister stopped her from doing so.

Her relationship with Toffee was gradually rebuilding itself, though. They had gone along a little better, maybe separated by their sister's concealing herself. Ardi broke her train of thoughts after a while, crossing the road.

Last flashback. Meeting Orange Cream. This hadn't been the first time they had met, but this was indeed the first since Bacardi's heart had spilled and she learned that, well, strings and threads of feelings had crisscrossed and stitched each other together like a tapestry of confused love. It wasn't anything formal, just a dinner out together, but Ardi was nervous nonetheless. Shuffling her feet, toes flexing in her velvety shoes, she craned her neck to look for Cream. There he was... waiting for her.

And that, to Bacardi, was the true beginning.

Opinion on their twin and how they feel about having a twin: Jamshid likes his twin, and likes to spend time with them. However, as always, having a sibling can be annoying, and when that sibling happens to be your twin, well Jamshid isn't a happy camper. He likes to play pranks on his twin, ranging anything from switching salt with sugar, or putting insects on the pillow.
