So, Spring Heart has a flashback of how she met the only mother she's ever known. Applejack.

I know its not clear, so here is what happens:

Big Macintosh goes to the door and he sees baby Spring Heart, so he calls for Applejack. She hurries to the door and scoops up the filly and starts coddling her x3

So Spring Heart is narrating down there, but shes not actually saying it to Nyx outside the flashback. She got this flashback at the mention of a mother.

This doesn't happen every time mother is mentioned, just this one time since I want to show her background. XD
