I need him, even if I dont get the one I want as Courage no other Xdois will be more fit for the role of Chase.
Weak Spot: When his family fights, and when his sister is in pain.
History:
Courage raced through the open den and stopped.
"Calm down Courage!." Whispered our mom to Courage as she continued to devote her time and love to the new pups.
Courage whined and gave me a knowing look,
"Comon Chase, lets get out of here."
I nooded and with that, we bounded out the doors to continue playing.
"Lets play stalk the deer?" Courage suggested.
We played for a couple hours Courage repeatedly attacking me playfully.
After a while I whined,
"Im bored, lets go find Alex and Ruger?" I suggested quickly.
"Fine." Answered Courage in her cheery sing song voice.
She raced off with me clipping her heels.
I laughed as Alex, our older brother, tried to teach our older brother {Trouble maker} Ruger how to hunt salmon.
"No, Ruger!" shouted Alex as his younger brother grew him into the water.
Me, Courage and Ruger started for a moment at our older brother, trashing madly around in the water, then broke into laughter.
Alex heaved himself onto the river bank with the help of his small but useful horns.
"Ruger!" He growled as he got up and shook himself.
We stopped laughing.
"Ruger, run!" Courage squealed as Alex started in a mad dash towards Ruger.
Courage and me started after them only to be stopped short by our father.
"Into the den now." He growled.
Me and Courage looked ahead of of and saw Ruger and Alex walking into the den, head down.
I saw Courage nod to our father and we raced off to the den.
"Whats the deal?" Courage asked Alex in barley a whisper.
I shook my head as Alex gave an answer, I knew already what was going to happen.
"I think where getting kicked out." He whined looking straight at the pups that our mother was nursing.
Courage whined and slipped herself between Alex and Me, with Ruger next to her.
Our father walked in and sat beside our mother.
"As you should know, its time for you to leave." Our father said in his deepest voice, so he would sound all macho.
"But dad, where to young." I cried in a helpless tone.
"Your old enough to take care of your self's now." He growled getting angry that we where not already gone.
Truth is, we where still way to young to be kicked out. But I guess the consider it unlucky to have only one girl in a litter. And since they have three males and thee female in their new litter, it was all even.
"Common guys." Courage whined and pulled myself up and quickly walked out of the den, our home.
I got up and followed Courage out of the den, Ruger and Alex trotting beside me.
"We can make ourselves a den somewhere else." Courage said trying to cheer us up.
I followed Courage as she pranced over to the river.
"We can follow the river! It has to lead somewhere awesome!" Ruger yelped with excitement.
Alex put his paw down, "No." He growled.
"Oh common Alex, its better wherever than here." Courage said looking at the dirt as the wind blew it across her small paws.
I looked joyfully and painfully up the hill, a new beginning, a new end.
