Story:
Kalloni walked quietly through the forest.
This was her first hunt and she hoped to make the others proud of her.
Then she heard the call of a mockingjay.
Swiftly, she stalked over to the tree next to the one it was perched on.
Next she slowly started to climb the tree, sinking her claws into the bark to get a better grip.
Her sleep pelt blended right in with the bark like camouflage.
Once she had herself perched onto a branch she strted to watch the bird.
She made sure that she stayed perfectly still and didn't make a sound.
Then the bird fluttered over to a branch on the tree she was in, the bird was now right in her range.
She lunged and landed nimbly on the branch.
The bird squaked and tried to fly away, but Kalloni quickly grabbed it in her paws.
Then she proceeded to give it a quick bite to the neck.
She climbed down from the tree and strutted around with her prize.
Kalloni was quite proud of her first catch.
