Their name means a mother’s love to them, because their mother named them. They are also named Apri as a shorthand for Apricot. Since they are partially that apricot coloration. Their mother didn’t want to entirely name them apricot though, she wanted something that didn’t just mean Apricot.

Prompt: Morning has always liked his grub name because he's always liked mornings. And he remembers his parents liked mornings too so he likes knowing they named him after their shared, favorite time of the day as they shared their love of him.
He was rather disappointed, however, with the name Eclipse added on. 'Dewdrops?' 'Blossoms?' 'Orange?' It sounded so... sweet... and basic, and Morning didn't think of himself as either of those things.
Later, Eclipse explained that they'd chosen that name to represent Morning's potential and his bright, invigorating personality. That... helped... a little. But to be honest, Morning still just likes his grub name better on its own.
