Believed to descend from heavenly hounds long fallen, born of stardust, and once companions to the angels themselves, these sighthounds carry upon their shoulders a raised crest of fur, shaped like quiet wings in remembrance and reverence.

Through the ages, they were kept by nobles and the elite, revered as living talismans and named guardian angels by those they watched over. Ever vigilant and fiercely loyal, they stood beside their masters in both court and campaign, protectors of bloodlines and silent witnesses to the rise and fall of great houses.

Their legacy endures still. Artifacts, statues, and time-worn tapestries bearing the likeness of Faehounds have been uncovered among ruined keeps and forgotten halls, each depicting them standing watch, seated at the thrones of kings now lost to time.

Yet they were not creatures of the hall alone. True to their nature, they ran with purpose across open lands, hunting at their masters’ side with unmatched grace and speed, their pursuit said to be guided as much by instinct as by something older and unseen.

It is said that Faehounds do not merely guard their masters, but the unseen thresholds they pass without ever knowing.

▸ Don't remove signatures and credit artists on and offsite as needed
▸ Be courteous, be kind and respectful
▸ Being an imaginary species means that your imagination is the limit in how you develop and world-build with your Faehounds
▸ We don't do AI here - please refrain from using AI generated prompts or images for any competitions. All entries must be made entirely by you.
▸ Rules are there as guidelines and generally will be updated as needed
▸ These are in place to keep the community peaceful and anyone found rulebreaking will be dealt with by staff and myself

▸ Currently there is no limit to how many Faehounds a single person may own
▸ Faehounds currently have 5 (five) breeding slots each
▸ All artists have one month to judge a competition. If a competition has run over this, please contact a staff member or myself for help
▸ Since these are free adopts, selling them for any form of currency is out of the question
▸ With the previous rule in mind, you may only trade an existing/approved Faehound for another existing/approved Faehound. You cannot trade a Faehound for any currency, art, UMA or MYO design.
▸ In the case of trades or ownership changes (such as gifting), please post on the relevant thread
▸ In the case of readoptions, the original artist must be notified, as well as myself or BlueEyedKite. Raffles or prompts are preferred for these
▸ All Faehounds are made in Oekaki
▸ Currently, any traits are a-okay with no restrictions on them. Designs are generally natural or semi, with hints of drastic colours if wanted
▸ Please keep the Faehound in the same pose, even if it has completely custom lineart/traits
▸ Any questions are welcome and encouraged! Feel free to dm myself or BlueEyedKite either on cs or Discord
