Username: Sewell
Name: Adam
Story:
It was a day like any other.
Warm sunlight, tasty green grass.
The only minus - that strong souther,
But it was going to pass.
Adam’s herd spent this day as always,
Grazing grass felt like heaven.
One of the most peaceful, golden days,
It was too peaceful even.
The sun set and night approached slowly,
Foals weren’t tired, would not sleep.
So Cassandra hung her head lowly,
Pointing to Adam “your keep.”
He sighed, coming closer to children,
Foals watched stallion quietly.
“Only one goodnight story given,
And go to sleep politely.”
“Okay,” children answered in chorus.
“Only if it’s long enough!
And do not even try to bore us.”
One foal neighed loudly with puff.
The stallion froze still, looking at him,
Surprised by such reaction.
Adam was thinking so hard and grim,
Trying to please the faction.
He got an idea finally,
“It will be never-ending.”
“Is that possible?” foals asked slyly.
They simply weren’t believing.
The proud stallion raised his head snorting,
Easy move to silence them.
Then he winged his tail fast twice, smirking,
Started the story like gem.
It was a day like any other.

Pointing to Adam “your keep.”Children listened to Adam’s story,
So captivated by it.
But afterward one said with fury,
“That’s about us now, admit!”
Instead, the stallion laughed happily,
“You’re right,” he agreed proudly.
“It can go indefinitely!”
But foals only sighed loudly.
“You did the same thing two weeks ago,”
They noticed so whiningly.
“It’s not funny repeating, you know?”
And they got to sleep quickly.
Adam went to Cassandra proudly.
“Good job,” she nuzzled his fur.
“It’s a perfect day,” he sighed gladly.
“Just like any other, sir.”

A bit of explanation:
This is my
Cassandra. She's the alpha mare of my herd. And if I win this stallion, he will become the alpha stallion.
The mare is mainly responsible for the herd's foals. But sometimes she delegates this task to others ;)
