Ribbons of light sway across an evening sky, with vibrant hues of greens, pinks & blues in spiraling motions, reflecting an unchoregraphed celestial ballet across the snow below. The wind whistles by and cracks with an electrical charge, making anyone that travels through feel all warm and tingly on the outside. It is said that in this world some of its creatures can be made from a concentrated high emotional charge that occurs between the supernatural, ancestral, and spiritual energies that command these lands. Their energies manifest into a single small teardrop sized pool of essence unique in its own power that can take decades to create. All of their intrinsic natures combine together and when these very intense moments happen between the world of the dearly departed and the world of the living, it feeds said soul in the making. Aurora borealis is one of the most familiar, high energy concentrated phenomena that happens in this world, occurring almost every night only during the colder months or the darker half of the year. Essences that come from here, ripple across the sky in a colorful radiance being easily mistaken for shooting stars before plummeting down into the piles of snow below. Filled with years of light, love, laughter, and wisdom these essences are quite ethereal and are seen as guides between the veil to help those who are lost find where they need to go. Their names are also personally thought of by the spirits above and are whispered to them upon their arrival to their new lands. Lucia is the name the spirits have called out for this little one, and it’s been a very long time since the dwellers of these lands have heard of or seen an essence emerge from the aurora borealis, they are all very ecstatic to meet her for not many new energy’s come from the lights above!!
