This photo is not taken by me, but this is a herd of wild Horses living nearby in a huge nature reserve. First thought about driving there to take a foto myself, but not that big of a Fan to get in the Car, driving to their spot, hiking there and ending up without seeing them anywhere near. A red-morph eastern screech owl!
This guy actually flew right into the side of my sisters car as she was driving home! We weren't sure if he was going to make it as he was lethargic, barely could keep his head up and eyes open. But we managed to get him awake and alert, he was super chill and curious about his surroundings. I'm glad my sister had the foresight to bring him home before the coyotes or stray cats could get him! (They're very prevalent in our area)

We then let him fly off into the night, I hope our owl buddy is having a good life wherever he is!

So, originally, I searched up pictures of spooky animals because I wanted to find an animal that matched the dark vibe of this equine. But, I got a picture of a weird little lemur called an Aye-aye. I think I vaguely remember watching a Wild Kratts episode about it, but I kept scrolling and it turns out their babies look like Gollum from Lord of the Ring!

I see stripes, I read "wild animal", and I immediately think about tigers. They're just amazing, so strong, beautiful, and full of mystery. The way they move is so smooth and powerful, like they totally know they’re in charge. They’ve got this calm but confident look in their eyes.
