Olivebundle doesn't regret much, he really tries to be a good doer at every turn! But there was a time where his fear left him feeling guilty.. Olivebundle was only a 1 year and a half when he was going on his first patrols. Scouts are normally sent on border patrols and are strictly not to cross the border. When accompanied by a explorer they are allowed to venture onward. Olivebundle lived by these rules, Goldenseed and Sourtrout always tried to look out for him and keep him on the right path. This night, maybe rules were supposed to be broken.

It was dusk patrol on a cool spring evening. Birds chirping, bushes rustling, the forest was alive and well. Only the sudden cries of a fellow cat pleading for help would catch his attention. His white paws shook as he struggled to bring himself forward. The border was just ahead, and just a bit further was the source of the cries. "What... What should I do?" He asked, his small voice shaking as he asked his companions for help. Goldenseed was the first to chime in.
"We need to go help them, they sound like they are in distress!" Her voice was always so sweet and inspiring. Her words gave him the strength to take a step forwards.
"But its across the border, Sandytear's said." Sourtrout puffed up to impersonate their yellow ticked leader. "No crossing the border, only explorers are skilled enought to handle the unknown terrains ahead." His friend settled back into his fur as her spoke like himself again. "We don't want to upset Sandy on our first patrol. They will need to save themselves this time." Olivebundle sat with these words, debating what he should do.
"I should follow the rules right Goldenseed?" Olivebundle asked the small golden bird on this other shoulder. Her beak dipped down for a moment as though she was unsure.
"I suppopse so..." Turning her small head to the side, not being able to bring herself to truly abandon another in need. Olivebundle looked to the direction of the cries.

Olivebundle heard that a rogue had been found outside of the border the following morning. Clan gossip says the rogue had passed away just a few feet outside the border. The poor strange had gotten themselves caught under a heavy boulder. Olivebundle quickly scurried out of camp upon hearing the news. He grabbed his chest, breathing unevenly as the news settled in. He felt as though if he had broken the rules maybe he could have saved this mystery cat.

Prompt: Circe regrets one day of her life more than any other. It had been a normal day watching over the kits playing and chatting to the fellow women when there had been the announcement of guests at her door. If she knew what those men would do, if she had known what kind of monsters those men were, she would have struck them down on her doorstep without a word. But she didn’t know then, and she had let those horrible beasts into her palace. She let them talk to her friends and sisters. She let them play with the kits. She left her girls alone with them when she prepared dinner, her most grievous mistake in all her life. It took far, far too long for the first scream for help to sound. And it took far, far too long for her to find where they had taken her sisters and nieces. She had destroyed the monsters then, but they had already gotten their rotten claws on far too much. The girls that were left afterwards were far less and all of them terrified of men like them entering their halls ever again. That day is the one Circe wishes she could change, that she would be able to spare her sisters the strife and agony that they went through that wretched night.

Gummy would never have signed that contract.

It's been a year since she signed the papers that changed her life. Exchanging a candy recipe for wealth that could buy her a life of luxury and influence felt like more than a fair deal to her. What was she going to do with a candy? Bring it to a birthday party? She had never felt that her candy-making was all that impressive, and rarely showed off her creations to anyone. Instead, she had spent her time admiring the nobility, their fancy galas and impeccable fashion. Being handed an opportunity to live that life was a once in a lifetime opportunity. How could she refuse?

Gummy hadn't thought it would bother her, handing over all the rights to her recipe. Never being able to tell anyone she made something that she expected never to see in her life again, or any of the other clauses of that lengthy contract. She got to move to the capital, live in a big house, attend those fancy parties she'd always dreamed of. This was perfect.. right?

She hadn't expected it to all feel so fake. The practiced smiles, the calculated laughs, the boring jokes. This wasn't her. But now she had no where else to go, no "real her" to fall back on. With her candy sale, she'd also sold away her right to keep experimenting with new candy types for years. She'd sold away her passion, taking it for granted and thinking she wouldn't need it anymore.

If Gummy could go back and do it over, she'd have kept her candy recipe, named it after herself, and found a way to appreciate her old life instead of always feeling that it wasn't enough. If she'd never signed those papers, she'd never have found herself trapped in the life of luxury she'd thought she'd always wanted.

Prompt: FernSprout regrets not going after his dreams early. He spent too much of his young life doing what was expected, what was 'normal' for clan cats. He never entertained thoughts about what he actually wanted to do. It didn't matter that he came from a very supportive and unique clan. For some reason his brain seized with fear that he would judge. It took time and encouragement from his friends, but he was finally able to step out of the box and start going after what he wanted, not what he thought others wanted. He's happier now than ever, he only wishes he had pushed through his worries and fears sooner.
