i've been toying around with the concept of a closed species for quite a while now and on the way to work today i had some sort of brain blast. i wanted to get the ideas sketched somewhat and then compile all of my ideas here so that i can think ab it more :p im not super creative but i love horses so. what the heck sure
also just realized the draft one doesnt have as much of a roman nose. i Will fix that
constant traits:
- half equine, half sea animal
- do not live on land, though can traverse it for short periods of time if necessary
- always have a roman nose of varying degrees
- large, tall ears
- if they have a mane/forelock, it is long and flowing
equine bases:
- standard: warmblood
- draft: feathered hooves, bulkier face, cold-blooded
sea animal bases:
- mammal (common): whales/porpoises/dolphins, still have mane/forelock, dorsal fin, most commonly found in standards
- shark (common): dorsal, second dorsal, and pelvic fins, gills (can breathe in air and water), NO mane/forelock, most commonly found in drafts
- eel (uncommon): no fins, gills, NO mane/forelock
- seahorse (rare): most often paired with a finned mane, pectoral and dorsal fins, gills
- shrimp (ultra rare): segmented abdomen, swimming legs, tail, can have antennae
rare(r) traits:
- finned mane
- black sclera
- narwhal/unicorn horn (can ONLY be paired with mammal base)
- wings...
- long/double fins
- finned hooves
