Apsid has dreams of the past or the future when sleeping. The prophetic dreams given to thon are distressing and confusing. The twists and turns are dizzying to vim. What does it all mean? All thon know, from experience, that it means anything but a good thing. Most days, it leads to them sleepwalking to places where dying fields are laid. The stench of death and despair lies there, ripped petals and fur scattered on the tattered grass. Aspid hates it all. Wilt can’t count the many times they were scolded for wandering off into the night by the search parties. When they ask why wilt does this, thon cannot give a solid answer. Ve’s soulbent on keeping thon’s secret. Aspid hates it. Sadly, this is the reason why Aspid's an insomniac. They try so hard to avoid the dreams, but a veleri can stay awake for so long.
It all started the moment they first opened their eyes. When wilt was just a kit, they complained to their parent that wilt had these 'visions' as they would call it. Their parent were concerned about their wellbeing, but their overseer parent was overjoyed. From a young age, its power was abused by the overseer. Unspeakable scenes played out in front of thon, the overseer using their dreams as a way to exploit power on the others. Aspid was trapped for years until they escaped after a horrid event happened to vis home. Since then, the dreams still reside as strong as ever, each group it joined fell due to the reveal of thon’s power. Aspid wishes to keep it a secret here as the new soothsayer.
