One kit in every litter of Maplefrost's rolls for a potential randomized ear edit! This only applies to one kitten per litter.
The ear mutation must be rolled after all the other edit rolls! To roll, follow these steps:
- 1. Roll for which kit in the litter gets the mutation.
2. Roll a 100-sided die to determine the mutation rarity.
xxx If 1-25, the mutation is common.
xxx If 26-80, the mutation is uncommon.
xxx If 81-99, the mutation is rare.
xxx If 100, the mutation is mythical.
3. Make a list of the ear edits for the rarity category rolled.
xxx Common ear edits: Ear placement, pointed ears, ear tufts
xxx Uncommon ear edits: Round ears, short ears
xxx Rare ear edits: Tall ears, folded ears, curled ears
xxx Mythical ear edits: Double ears
4. Roll which edit they get! If the edit contradicts a higher rarity edit the kit already rolled for, the lower rarity edit is void. It is possible for the kitten to roll for an edit which they already have; if so, the roll stays and is not repeated.
