i've been wanting to do a closed species for awhile - an arpg! been wanting to bring these guys to life for awhile now...

there is a bare-bones example of what i'm wanting the base to look like, but i will specify in the requirements ♡
minimum requirements:
1. fully lined and flat color for 3 stages of life (baby, "teen", and adult)
2. each ref must have a base tail (can be a traditional mermaid type tail or something like the drawing above), and fin ears
3. a reference section with a palette, paws and eyes! the paws can be traditional cat paws, or something unique!
optional/boosters:
1. shading/lighting
2. backgrounds (ideally in any water setting)
3. multiple different fin types (main tail, ears, back fins, arm fins, etc)
detailed hydrafelis description
style: can be chibi, can be realistic, open to anything!
general description: mystical, cat-like species with a blend of elegant and otherworldy features. their eyes are usually large (but not abnormally so). some hydrafelis have scales that run along their bodies, while others have fur, and some even have feathered appendages. some have fish like whiskers, some have antennae! in simplified form, and at its very bare bones, think vaporeon from pokemon but mixed with a cat!
this species is still up for a lot of interpretation, so please let your creativity run wild!
