Welcome to the goomarket! This is where you’ll find all the shops in the goobie universe. There’s the premium shop (USD + C$), the treasure shop (gold coins), the staff shop (activity points), and the kudos shop (kudos).

“Apparently I’ve been volun-told as the goomarket greeter, hello. I’m Morgana, and I run the premium shop. While I agree with my dad when he says that material objects shouldn’t be sold for money, this place is expensive to rent, so I gotta do what I gotta do. My real passion is making patches for jackets and bags.

What’s that? Who’s my dad? You probably know him as Jystyr. I haven’t seen him in a few hundred years, but by the look on your face, he’s probably still using that name. Anyway, feel free to have a look around.”

The premium shop features a variety of items such as MYOs, trait tickets, and nursery batch modifications. These items are a way to support goobies as a species if you would like to! Many of these items are also available for free through events, as we wanted to make the paid shopping experience completely optional! USD payments will be discussed over discord (please message @castiiian), and C$ payments can also be sent to castiiian.

“YOU WANT MY LOOT? OKAY. GIVE GOLD FIRST. NO RETURNS.” The goob looks you dead in the eyes. “NAME DRAGON. LIKE GOLD. SHINY FOR SHINY, FAIR AND EVEN.”

The treasure shop features items that will help your goobies do better at their jobs, increasing reward yields or allowing for extra submissions. Occasionally, crafting ingredients may also be available. These items can be purchased with gold, which is obtained by participating in weekly and monthly jobs. To get started on earning gold, sign one of your goobies up for a job at the job board!

This market stall seems surprisingly un-manned, a lone vending machine standing in place of where a goob might be. Instead of a coin slot, there's just a sign that says "KUDOS ONLY." Perhaps it can simply feel the goodwill of the kudos you've earned, allowing it to dispense what you want? The strange machine will stay a mystery to you until you try it, and will likely remain so even after the fact.

The kudos shop only accepts kudos as a form of currency!

• What are kudos? In short, they are honorable mentions that you receive on occasion by entering for adopts.
• You will know if you have received kudos by the artist explicitly mentioning it when the winners of an adopt competition have been announced. If you're not sure, you can always check your inventory in the bank & archives google doc!

This shop is where staff members can exchange activity points for rewards. More information about these points can be found in the staff discord! Not a staff member? Consider applying as an artist!

Staff members are also able to combine or de-combine trait tickets and tokens to create higher or lower tier trait items, and can do this on behalf of non-staff members after the trait items are traded to the staff member. They are also allowed to charge a fee for this service if they wish.
