Tier I'm currently working on: 4

1.) It had felt like I was being watched but each time I looked around I saw nothing more than the gaze of one or two curious Equuiossa's. They were not much more than passing glances before they went back to whatever they'd been doing. So I merely carried on walking around the agency, checking out the inhabitants, some in pastures or paddocks while others were in the stables. None of the ones I saw seemed quite right but even then the feeling of being watched stayed with me.

The suspicion of the watcher not being human was proven when I heard the sound of hooves upon stone. I saw her for the first time when I turned around, standing there poised as if she had just stepped out of the barn. I knew then that it had to be her, I made it official not too long after.

2.) Serizel as I called her had settled in nicely, she'd quickly become quite fond of the Galingale Striders and several Range Trotters. For some time I wasn't sure if she had a favourite among the little bunch she was most commonly found grazing in and amongst. With time I discovered that my beloved rescue Galingale mare Neria had taken quite the shine to the Equuiossa.

I'd spent time watching the two interact with one another, Serizel had been a careful observer at first. When it was clear Neria wasn't about to drive her away Serizel relaxed and the two settled in to graze together. Perhaps Neria helped the other mare as Serizel began to fully warm up to me at a pace far quicker than I anticipated. Her reactions in the morning had gone from pricked ears to a very soft nicker. Surprising but welcome.

3.) Serizel's habit of greeting me every time she saw me had become a bit of a bright spot in sometimes monotonous or even bad days. It seemed like we took it in turns to approach one another, I'd be gently nibbled while Serizel would receive some scratches. Though she'd never stray too far from the members of what she considered her little herd.

I have to admit at one point I thought there was the possibility of her being buddy sour, thankfully that wasn't the case. She just really loved her herd mates and preferred being near them. Often I'd be working a horse or cleaning the yard and there'd be Serizel, observing. There was one occasion when I slipped on an icy day and experienced her phenomenal healing skills first hand. I had intended on simply cleaning the grazes and ignoring the bruises but she'd insisted.
