A Plate Dragon is a subspecies of dragon! They have "Plates" on the side of their cheeks and on their butts! They also have scales around their bodies such as on their faces, legs, and tail! Another unique feature are the "spikes" on the end of their tails and horns that can range in many different shapes and sizes that are used for protection and battle. They usually live in jungles or forests but can be found anywhere. They are extremely venomous, and can projectile their venom when in danger! They use this tactic when feeling threatened or scared so as long as you have good intentions they wont hurt you! They are feisty but you'll be lucky to have one as your friend if it gives you its trust!

Stories began to surface, of a plate dragon one could only find when they were lost. Someone that none had ever actually seen in town, a guide to the wounded. A spirit, perhaps, known only by the their piercing blue eyes and silver coat. The truth was, Hermes lived somewhere remote, and enjoyed a solitary life. Here they honed their skills, living a peaceful experience they could claim as their own.

...But they were still a bleeding heart for their kind, and when someone was lost would guide them home and then vanish back to their own home without a word. A silent sentinel of the mountains, a guardian.

One time someone found his place. There they discovered a forge, where the most wondrous of creations were crafted. Armor, weaponry, and accessories, designed simply out of love for the art. Tangible proof of their existence, legends to one day find a home. One day, he would seek out homes, worthy carriers for each of those items. Maybe those who found him, perhaps. A strange existence, but one he quite enjoyed.

Prompt: She was so tired of being defined by words. It was all just opinions, anyway; how could someone truly define who she was when no one had ever seen all she was? A few short interactions could never tell someone the whole story. Besides, she wasn't interested in telling anyone the whole story. Not when people were so quick to judge her. It felt like no one actually wanted to get to know her. It felt like they all just wanted to cling to their assumptions and first impressions. But there was so much more to her than that.

She would much rather people focus on her actions; at least that way their definitions would be based on facts. How she always tried to help others where she could, and even when she couldn't she would listen patiently to them venting about the situation. How she always tried to do the right thing, whatever challenges or obstacles she might face. Didn't actions speak louder than words? Why wasn't that the case for her?

To be honest, she wasn't exactly great at finding the right words to say. When she tried to say something, it felt like it often wouldn't come out right. Or perhaps people just already had their minds made up about her. Regardless, she didn't really like trying to talk, when there was a high chance it would only lead to her being misinterpreted further. Maybe that was part of why definitions based on words all felt wrong to her. Maybe it was just words in general that felt wrong.

So, who was she? Herself.

And that was the only definition that mattered.
