What are Sommursa?

These oh-so-cuddly ursidae are psychically adept, using telepathy and telekinesis to navigate through their home in a seemingly eternal lucid dream. Some specialized Sommursa (Sommi for short) are tasked with guarding and maintaining their home, The Sanctuary using dream energy and are known as Shines or Glooms. All Sommi have the ability to become Shines or Glooms, which they become is dependant on how their magic develops and grows.

Due to The Sanctuary going through a flourishing time, some sommi have left in search of new homes and adventures!

• Sommursa are a closed species; Only official staff are allowed to make adoptables
• Users may only create Sommi using the appropriate myo and/or edit items
• Freely obtained Sommi only be traded for other species and artwork
• Purchasing/Selling a Sommi obtained with virtual currency for Real Life currencies is prohibited
• You cannot use the Sommursa Base for profit if you are not an official artist
• Respect all staff and fellow members
• Transferring a Sommursa out is species has to be done with the species owner, and the original artist's permission
• Users are allowed to own an unlimited number of Sommi
• Sommi can be freely traded and gifted, as long as it's posted on the archive update thread

•Artists may make adopts in any Free or paid manner (FCFC, Raffles, Competitions)
•Artist must be active (making adopt, nursery batches, etc) at least once in a 3 month period
•Staff members will recieve a 1 limited trait myo per active month, which can be combined for a higher tier, or split into items with permission from the owner
•Guest Staff (Artists, Archivists, Moderators) must preform all duties assigned to be considered for a permanent position
•Guest Staff, at the end of their trial, will recieve 1 Uncommon myo ticket
•Activity for staff is as follows; minimim 1 adopt/nursery batch/user custom for Artists, logging adopts, trades and customs for Archivists.

As regular artists, you are allowed to offer up to limited tier edits for customs. Gloom/Shine customs are only to be offered with express owners approval

Free customs may have up to 1 rare trait max.
Minimum Custom Prices are...
100 C$ / $5 USD - Standard
+80 C$ / $10 USD for Limited edits [can be per edit, or encompass multiple]

Paid Adopt Minimums are 80 C$ / $5 USD for Basic+ Sommi, 200 C$ / $10 USD for Limited edit.
Paid Nursery batches are 80 C$ / $5 USD per cub minimum.

Every Sommi will always have closed eyes, and a Dream Orb; a physical storage of their dream energy. The standard is a singular coloured sphere, but like other aspects of their designs, can deviate with items.

Non Rarity ; These can be added freely without the use of an item!

Whiskers, Claw Edits, Weight Edits, Deafness or Blindness, heterochromic orbs (3 colours max)

Basic ; Any adopt/myo can have these edits

Hair edits, Fur edits, Ear edits, Pupil edits, Darker/Coloured Sclera, Tongue edits, Tail type edits, particles

Rare ; Rare adopts can be made for every 5 basic adopts an artist makes

Extra/Missing Eyes, Extra ears, Extra/Missing Limbs, Multiple Tails (Max of 4), shaped orb, Antenna

Limited ; Limited adopts can be made for every 3 rare adopts an artist makes

Halos, Transparency, Slime / Goop, Horns

Mythic ; These traits are strictly limited to milestone adopts at this time

Genesplice, Wings, Multiple Heads, Height Edits, multiple orbs, Horns/Spines on Body

Exclusive ; These edits are limited to Glooms and Shines only. They follow the rules of Limited Edits

Bioluminescence, Flightless wings, Dream Energy Manifestation*

* - Dream energy manifestation can occur as glowing "trails" coming from eyes and paws and along the body, , or as parts of the body being made on the energy. Currently the max for replacements are 2 standard limbs. Wings/Horns do not count towards this limit
