Chicoons are Arboreal Fruigivores that stand roughly 4 feet in height.
They have long, flexible necks, curly and stretchy tongues, floppy ears, a box-like head, wings on their head, and a flame that hovers by their tail!

They are highly intelligent creatures and can learn to communicate with any animal, however since they lack the necessary vocal cords to speak a verbal language they've learned to communicate and express their emotions through their headwings! Chicoon have proven to be wonderful and
friendly companions of anyone and can be often found in the company of humans.

I didn't have enough spoons to make as many adopts as I wanted to for Disability Pride, but here's some babies to close out the month with!

The Disability Pride Flag was originally designed by Ann Magill in 2019 (redesigned in 2021) and represents the community strength of disabled people fighting for their rights and representation.

Iris mainly copes all thanks to their emotional support cat epilla named Poppy, as well as their fuzzy purple blanket infused with comforting smells. Poppy follows them around everywhere, and it is rare they go anywhere without the blanket in tow.
They also keep a little diary, they try to fill it with as many positive things as possible.
Iris shows pride for their disability by taking part of group activities and spending time with other Chicoons. Doing so is sometimes very demanding mentally and it is definitely not easy sometimes, but they love being around other Chicoons that legitimately understand their problems, and that sometimes even share similar or entirely different problems themselves. There's always others who are willing to learn more about anxiety and how to be around someone who deals with it. Iris feels a lot of pride in overcoming mentally demanding obstacles if it means that others will be better educated on disabilities.
During those events, Poppy is there ready to comfort them whenever they need a moment away from the crowd.
