While some mistake ignis for dogs, they’re cat-like - but not cats, either! Ignis belong to the feliformia suborder, which includes not only cats, but also animals such as hyenas, meerkats and civets. Ignis are highly intelligent creatures, and while they don't communicate like humans do, their growls, clicks, hisses and meows make up a language of their own that can very much be learned and understood. I know that this really depends on the type of video and the person watching, but, personally, I don't understand how others could say that they're relaxing; the whispery ones send a chill up my spine (and not in a good way), rain makes me extremely anxious (yet my own father somehow puts on rainstorm ASMR vids when he naps), and other 'background noise' vids just make me cringe (or jump, depending on the noise). It's strange; I love music, but ASMR videos, and lo-fi/'study' music too, just make me feel more anxious.
