The Avine are a species of griffin that carry owl and big cat like features. They live in many types of climates, and can come in many different sizes. Avine are raised and train to participate in the Avine Racing Leagues where they gain stats to pass on to their offspring. The size of your Avine will determine what Race they are allowed to register for!

Event Time: July 1, 2023 - August 1, 2023

Welcome to the 2023 Summer Splash, our first annual Avine summer event! Each Summer one artist is selected to create a custom line edit that is featured for this event, and gets to select a theme.

This year, Artist Tatangi has made a new pair of wings that will only be used for this event. Since these are all going to sport that new set of wings, all the Summer Splash Avine are considered Rare Avine.

This also means that the only way to get Avine with this set of wings is by adopting from this event, or hoping that the trait will pass to offspring.

SUMMER SPLASH EDITS

Artist Tatangi has created a set of wings that resemble Fins instead of feathers! This is a Rare trait that all Summer Splash Avine will have. The Uncommon trait are the set of gills that she added, but there are extra Uncommon traits as well that Artists might use for this event!

The Rare Trait of this event has a 20% or 30% chance of passing to offspring depending on the number of parents who have the trait. An offspring who does not have the fins but had parents who had the fins, is considered a carrier of the rare trait and has a 10% chance of giving it to offspring if the Carrier roll is requested by the owners. (An item bought from our discord shop)

The Uncommon Trait has a 30% or 40% chance of passing to offspring depending on the number of parents who have the trait. An offspring who does not have gills or other add-on edits (extra fins, Floaties, Bubble Head, etc...) from this event but had parents with those traits is considereda carrier. Carriers have a 20% chance of passing the trait to offspring when a carrier roll is used by the breeding owners (an item bought from our discord shop).
