damppaw stands proudly in the clearing while her clan hides under the fallen tree, waiting for their leader to arrive. siltstar finally jumps to the top of the log and flops down, a bored expression on her face as she lounges in her usual spot. the clans murmurs hush when she clears her throat, “let all gaze upon this apprentice, as she gains her true name. may the shadows of the leaves guide our new warrior, dampfade, as she continues to protect our clan and train any future kin. the clan is dismissed.” the eyes under the log stare back at dampfade as her new name is chanted and the cats slowly crawl their way out from underneath to celebrate the occasion.

the whole clan dislikes siltstar too now and idk why?? so i made her dislikable in the ceremony too
