As Scorchheather was busy with another patrol, Charcall takes Lotuspaw out to hunt. They come across the thunderpath, and Charcall stops, wondering if they should cross. Lotuspaw tries to run across, but doesn't think to check if any monsters were coming, and gets hit by one. Luckily, he survives, but he has a broken jaw and needs to stay in the medicine den to heal.

A sunrise later, Charcall gets a stomachache, so at least Lotuspaw has company.

In other news...

Morningsmoke is expecting kits! She won't be moving into the nursery this moon though.

Scorchheather and Morningsmoke encounter two squirrels chasing eachother around in a circle. They are briefly amused by the commotion before stopping to catch the distracted squirrels.

Leapstar escorts Dancingtail as she goes out to look for herbs. Whiskerstripe silently watches the two cats, with neither one taking notice of the StarClan cat nearby.
