During a border patrol, Lotuspaw and Scorchheather find a small dog roaming around the SwirlClan territory. It isn't big or strong enough to cause significant harm to any cat, but it could potentially scare away prey, so Scorchheather decides that it was best for him and his apprentice to drive the dog away.
Without warning, they burst out of the bushes and chase after the dog, spitting and hissing with their fur bristled. The dog is terrified and runs away, yipping loudly. The two cats don't stop until the dog leaves SwirlClan territory.
In other news...
Leapstar goes out on a solo patrol to catch some prey for the clan. She finds a small burrow with a strange scent, and looks inside, only to find a lone rabbit. She isn't quite sure why this rabbit was alone in its burrow, but at least it was an easy catch.
Morningsmoke and Charcall creep along the tall grass, searching for prey. Suddenly, Morningsmoke stands up and runs off. After a few heartbeats, she comes back, triumphantly holding a blackbird.
Dancingtail attempts to collect marigold, but fails.
